Who did the menu pricing? $27 for chicken tacos and $35 for surf and turf. $12 for bam bam shrimp but $14 for chicken or cauliflower wings? $28 for short rib and $27 for chicken parm it's like somebody with no knowledge of food costs made it.

Scotland Run golf club Highlander pub and grill was a good experience. The waiters don't hover but stand to the front keeping an eye on things , they are right there if you need a refill or anything. The food was exquisite, but small portions. The cost was moderate compared to other restaurants. The dress is casual .

Is the first time my wife had been there service was good especially the bus personnel. They were more than helpful with filling glasses and removing finish plates. Will definitely be back, and I should also say I'm also a golfer, so you know I'll be back!!

This is the second time I've been there in recent months where I was not happy with my service or the meal. The food was not exceptional for the price and service was at a minimal during our dinner.

Food was not what I expected at all, I never asked for rice and white rice was all over the food. A tiny portion all crumble mixed up like baby food or cat food. It was not appetite look. It looks like soup.... For $38 ???? The wait was too long, ruining the velintine.

The food and venue were nice. It was very loud in the bar area, although it would be very nice in there when the fireplace is burning. The server was very nice, but the service was very slow.

It started great. We got the table we reserved. The food had a little too much garlic and the spinach was salty, but still a great meal until off duty employees moved tables around and started hanging out with their friends. They were loud, cursing and oblivious that theu destoyed out intimate annivdrsary meal. We skipped coffee and dessert and left asap.

Have had dinner at Highlander Pub many times and will be going back many more times. Always consistent in service and food. Staff and friendly and attentive. Food is excellent. Highlander Pub never disappoints.

We had our brunch upstairs with 15 family members. It was nice and quiet and service was great. Our only complaint is that our food was not hot. The taste was good but not hot. Will definitely come back again but hope the food is hot next time.

Was hoping for a slightly more fine dining experience considering the time of year. Expected better decorations for the holiday but the food was good. The service was just okay. The young lady server was very preoccupied

Scotland Run is always consistent. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and my granddaughters loved it. Brian, our waiter, was attentive and always there for us. I had the shrimp cocktail and a house salad, one granddaughter had the California salad and sweet potato fries, and another chicken fingers and sweet potato fries. They followed with chocolate molten cake with ice cream for desert. Perfect.

The crab cake sandwich did not have much if any crab. Also, the fries with it were not very good (very small and tasteless). The shepherds pie and chicken salad sandwich were excellent. The noise level was very high due to a table next to us that was very loud. Christmas decorations were very nice. Waiter was very pleasant and attentive.

We have dined at the Highlander in the past, mostly out on the patio for brunch or lunch, and we have always enjoyed our meals. This time we decided to try dinner inside and it was a huge disappointment. For appetizers we split the Sicilian Calamari and Jersey Long Hots. They were average at best; the calamari was swimming in a bland broth and the long hots were mushy and placed on top of bread, which became mushy as well. Neither had a lot of flavor. I ordered the Surf and Turf with grilled shrimp. The steak was tough and grisly, and the shrimp were barely cooked, no sign of grilling at all. Although the mashed potatoes were delicious! My husband had the Crab Cakes and he did think they were pretty good. All in all, I fell like the meal was very overpriced for the quality.

As usual, everything was delicious from the Caesar salad with shrimp and chicken to the chicken fingers and sweet potato fries. Robbie was right on it as our server and Jason stopped by quite a few times to make sure everything was good. Love it here.
