We shop in NJ on Saturdays. My daughter asked for Shrimp Tacos. I said ok google, and Las Chiangas popped up. It was near so we headed out. I cannot tell you how amazing this experience was. This place is very small with about 8 tables. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. My daughter asked if they had apple juice for the two kids. They did not... next thing you know, they ran next door and got two bottles for us. I was blown away. To say this place is welcoming would be...

Truly an authentic restaurant. The women behind the counter and in the kitchen is exactly what I would imagine a Mexican kitchen to be. A hidden gem in this little town. It’s been two days I’m still thinking of how good this place is.

FINALLY found a good Mexican restaurant in Monmouth County. It is a small quaint little place with FRESH home style food. The Tacos de Carnitas were delicious, Tostadas and Flautas as well, hot sauces are flavorful and spicy if you ask for it. They make an Artisanal Mole that is Phenomenal! The prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and portions are generous. Most importantly the food is delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
