I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway (4 Research Rd, Monroe, NJ). The employee, Nimisha, was extremely rude and unprofessional.
I walked in while on the phone confirming my friend’s order. When I asked her to wait a moment, she rolled her eyes. When I asked about bread options, she didn’t bother explaining and just pointed at the sign. While I was reading the choices to my friend, she left to assist other customers.
When I finally ordered a footlong veggie patty sub, well done, she made it with an obvious attitude like I was inconveniencing her. As I confirmed toppings with my friend, she impatiently told me to “step aside” in a rude tone so she could help someone else.
The entire interaction made me feel like she was doing me a favor rather than providing customer service. Very unprofessional behavior.
I strongly suggest that management provide customer service training to staff at this location. Customers should be treated with patience and respect, not with frustration and dismissiveness. Until that changes, I won’t be returning to this location.

I recently received a coupon flyer in the mail from Subway and decided to stop by for a sandwich, as it had been a long time since my last visit. I arrived at the store at 6:55 PM, bringing along the physical coupons with me, as I had been planning to redeem one for a footlong.
Right off the bat, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Despite there being two employees present — a middle-aged Indian man and a middle-aged Latina woman — neither greeted me or even acknowledged my presence with a smile. They remained silent and kept to themselves, which struck me as cold, but I tried not to let it bother me.
When I approached the counter, I asked if I could redeem one of the in-person coupons I brought. The woman told me that coupons weren’t accepted after 7 PM. I explained that I had arrived before 7 — it was 6:55 PM when I walked in — and asked if she could still honor the coupon. However, she didn’t come over to assist me until 7 PM, even though I was already standing at the counter, and by then she refused to redeem it. It felt really unfair.
She then said that only online coupons were accepted. So, I opened the Subway app to try using an online coupon instead. But as soon as I did, she abruptly changed her response and told me they wouldn’t accept the online coupon either unless I placed the order through the app. That made absolutely no sense — I was already standing in the store, ready to pay, and nowhere in the store or on the coupons (both paper and digital) was there any mention of these restrictions.
At that point, I just decided to pay full price for the footlong since I was already there — but even that was disappointing, because the sandwich wasn’t warm. I ended up having to reheat it when I got home.
The store wasn’t closing anytime soon either — it was only 7 PM and the posted hours said they were open until 8 or 8:30. I had plenty of time. Yet I left feeling extremely disappointed.
I had specifically chosen Subway over other sandwich shops because of the coupon, but the poor customer service and unclear, inconsistent policies completely ruined the experience. The staff were either silently disengaged or straight-up rude, and their communication was frustratingly contradictory.
Overall, I wouldn’t return to this location. The service was poor, the food was subpar, and the entire experience felt like a waste of time.

I had an absolutely amazing experience coming to this subway. The service was outstanding. Very clean store!!

I have never seen a freaking rude Women who works here.
She is rude to the core with all the customers. Im sure the are seeing the closing light soon 🔜 very soon.
With this attitude they won’t to continue.

This place does not take coupons. Not sure who decides what Subway “participates” but there should be more clarification. The customer service is pretty nasty especially when customers call and they are in the middle of something else. Avoid this Subway at all costs. They will not be getting my business anymore.

This location is just wow! The guy apparently with the name “V” was rude to say the least. He decided that he could not honor deals that were on the App! The place was busy, I guess he didn’t care to honor deals where they had to give discounts lol.
The lady was apologetic but “V” didn’t care about customer service. Bad experience. So I Cancelled the order. Their loss.

For some reason this subway does not accept any coupons. Although it is subway provided coupon they clearly reply that they do not accept any coupon. Not sure why only this subway not accepting ANY subway coupons.

So rude... having trouble with app and she couldn't be bothered. After finally completing order she told me to sit and not watch what she was doing. I stood and watched the whole time. Not friendly...just obnoxious. I'll never go there again ever.

Ordered online had the Italian bmt combo 6inch had a bug in my food looked like a roach .plus my sandwich was made with pure hate mayo all over bread and so much oil and vinegar Bread was soggy right off the rip well waste of 12 buks but shut it down

One of the worst Subway. Employees are rude. Bought a meal worth $20 and gave them tip so I can sit and eat in the store. It was cold outside so I wanted to sit and eat in the store. One of the employees didn’t let me sit down and eat. She started yelling saying that she has to clean the store as store closes soon. I was there at 7:35pm and store closes at 8:30pm. I pointed out to her that store closes at 8:30, she got more upset. I guess if Subway will have employees like her, they lost another long time customer

Black mold specs on the ice from ice machine and the lemonade from the fountain machine tasted rancid absolutely disgusting, tried other fountain sodas they had a funny taste to them. Will never return to this location might not ever return to subway
