Good food, good service. I highly recommend for authentic Mexican food. They now have tables on the outside, which is a plus.

I am from California where there is excellent Mexican food. After moving here, I have searched this area for food that is more authentic and have finally found it!

We got attracted to stellar reviews and decided to give it a try. It was not a good experience, food lacked taste and was not even typical Mexican fare. Guac was just diced pieces of avocados, tomato’s and onions and was super cold. Chips were super thin and salty. We ordered bunch of stuff, stuffed pobalano, shrimp entree and chicken quesadilla, didn’t like anything at all. It’s not a good place to eat Mexican food.

A warm weather day calls for an outdoor dinner at Maria's! Got my usual go to which is Maria's Burrito. A regular burrito but drenched in their mole sauce. Then I add their la diabla sauce on top to make it spicy. Chefs Kiss. The shrimp la diabla is also a good go to and that thing packs heat! The residential cat was out and about. I'm pretty sure I saw it last time I dined outside too. The cat is real chill. It just roams. A side note: they updated the look of their menu. Reorganized the flow of items, text size, and prices.

Wow - what happened to this long standing Mexican establishment? Have been going here for many years but the last two times, it has been a huge disappointment (maybe new owners). Did a takeout order for cheese quesadillas, pork tacos, chicken burrito bowl, etc. the chicken was so dry it was inedible, cheese quesadillas came with the same dry chicken (not ordered with chicken) and the pork tacos was so fatty. The place only had one table eating while the new Mexican restaurant down the road (Algeria) had a near full parking lot. Haven't tried it yet but may have to now.

The food be bussin'.Authentic.Genuine.Flavorful.These are the words that I would use in describing Taqueria Maria's. We have eaten from Taqueria Maria's previously, however, that occasion called for take-out. I recall the food being rather good. However, it wasn't until we chose to dine-in at the location that we were reminded of how amazing the food is.While the menu inclined towards the Tex-Mex varietal, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. The ambiance - the music, neutral clay tones of the walls and flooring, and the sound of sizzling food on the griddle echoing from the kitchen - really set the mood and complimented the authenticity of the food. The staff seemed very happy-go-lucky and were incredibly friendly in their service.Beginning with the complimentary nacho chips, you will be pleasantly treated with two different salsas (verde and roja). While neither were incredibly spicy on the Scoville spectrum, they both hold their individual uniqueness. The verde sauce definitely has a bigger kick than the roja, while the red sauce is delightfully flavorful - it's as if Rao's had a baby with a puree'd roasted red bell pepper. We ordered the burrito and the enchiladas plates. The burrito serving was massive and generous, being garnished with a bed of lettuce on top. Meanwhile, everything about the enchiladas plate was spectacular - from the black beans, rice, to the enchiladas themselves. The same verde sauce for the nachos now appeared to dress and gracefully bathe the pair of enchiladas, enriching it with tantalizing flavor. This spice paired perfectly with the chicken, as hints of lime and cilantro accentuated the entire profile of the meal. While the saucy beans mixed with the soft texture of the rice grains to create a satiating meal. We also ordered a side of grilled jalapenos which were made to perfection - holding the perfect amount of char, whilst retaining the satisfying crunch. If Taqueria Maria's was a bit closer, I reckon that my family and I would frequent this eatery more often. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a good Mexican meal, whether that be for lunch or dinner.

Delicious place but really disappointed that they raised the prices on their menu :( Tacos used to be $3.25 and now they are $5.25

The food was soooo yummy & authentic. Waiter was helpful. Nice size portions. Small place so was lucky to get a table.

Decided to have an early dinner at Taqueria Maria's. We ate indoors rather than order take out. We both had quesadilla with vegetables. We could barely finish them. The flavors were terrific and my wife, who usually orders fajitas was glad she had the quesadilla. Service was excellent and we again believe that this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area.
