My Dad who is 90 wanted to try out this BBQ. So today we did. We ordered 2 rib platters and 2 chicken platters. Each came with a side (we chose collard greens, baked beans and 2 orders of mac and cheese). The total came to $60 ($15 per platter) which I thought was very reasonable especially since each platter had a lot of food! The chicken was cooked perfectly and tender. The chicken was amazing. The ribs had great flavor but they were a bit overcooked we had a hot sausage as well and it was also really good. It’s a roadside stand with outdoor seating only but it fun to eat messy barbecue outside. The staff was so friendly I couldn’t believe how nice they were. I’d definitely recommend to a friend.
I was driving down a beautiful country road just sight seeing a few days back when I saw a roadside barbecue stand. I’m an absolute animal when it comes to barbecue so I gave it a shot. Im telling whoever reads this that I seriously haven’t stopped thinking about this food for days. Running the stand were the nicest and most humble, church going folks i’ve met down here in south jersey. Anyone from here can tell you that it’s a serious hit or a miss when it comes to folks...
