Absolutely LOVE Applegates! Its a NE NJ staple! Been going here for years, as an MSU alum, and now that my friend lives relatively close, we always make it a point to get ice cream, year round! Yes its open all year! They let you sample new flavors, and dont skimp on the portions. All homemade!! Plenty of parking however during peak times it might be really hard to park, so go early and frequently. A MUST FOR ICE CREAM LOVERS!

Applegate Farms ice cream is excellent!!! So many flavors to pick from. Sundaes, cones, milkshakes, pies ice cream gallons to go and So much more!!! This is the best place to go for ice cream!!! 🍦 🍨 😋 You'll never be disappointed! I can see why their business is so popular all year long!

Had to try to viral hot chocolate with the scoop of ice-cream on top! Was good by my gf ate the marshmallow fast and almost puked on the way home. Hot chocolate and the ice cream was good! Did have a good wait and I think 2 or 3 of the hot chocolates couldn't be made because they ran out of the ice cream. Idk we drove an hour to try this.

Kind of mad the ice cream is amazing I waited for 30 minutes for their viral hot coca which should be frozen cold hot coca. I went into my car put my straw into it and everything just poured over damaging my new jeans, hot (cold) cocoa over my phone screen and my new shoes. It was a viral mess. 2 drinks for $25. It was crazy when she said that I had to do a gasp. Not happy at all. Don’t listen to Tik Tok when I got home my partner said this is all sticky. I would like my money back but that’s not going to happen. So disappointed.

My friends and I went to Applegate Farm just for the hot chocolate. The peppermint ice cream to me was too minty for my liking, but the hot chocolate was delicious. I wish it was a little bit larger, but I still enjoyed it.

Always good ice cream! Wasn’t a big fan of the hot chocolate $12 . Didn’t look anything like they advertise . The ice cream was melted and the hot chocolate was cold. They filled the cup full of marshmallow. More like $7 for this cup. But I def only their ice cream got a quart for $16 . I spent $28 for a cup of cold hot chocolate & a quart of ice cream

I tried the cookies and cream hot chocolate , but it was a bit disappointing. The hot chocolate itself tasted pretty good, but it was only warm, not hot. There was way too much marshmallow on top, it wasn’t toasted, and the scoop of ice cream made it overly sweet. The shop was very busy and everything felt rushed, which may have affected the quality. Nice idea, just not executed that well.
