Bluestone Coffee Co

My wife and I were shopping in Montclair and stopped for breakfast at the Bluestone Coffee Company. Bluestone is a coffee cafe and coffee roaster serving breakfast and lunch items. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and their coffee robust. We selected breakfast options of a veggie omelette with cheddar cheese and the zucchini parmesan frittata. Both came with a choice of toast and roasted potatoes. Both were fresh and savory and the potatoes roasted perfectly. Staff was friendly and prices were moderate and fair. Bluestone is a very good choice for breakfast and lunch.

I don’t know if they are affiliated with other bluestones but everything is different. The menu is different. The service is always rushed and not warm. The food never taste fresh. The eggs taste like they are white eggs and is usually always over cooked. The tables are always dirty and it always smells like feces when I sit down. I always try to give them a chance because they’re so close but it fails everytime

The iced vanilla decaf latte with oat milk was smooth and delightful. The impossible burger with gluten-free bread was average. Definitely needed a better plate presentation. The side salad dressing had too much vinegar.

Super place for a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch. Wonderful staff and great food...and Excellent coffee. :)
