Hard to judge how the food and service were since when I showed up for the Thali weekend lunch special and they told me it wasn't available because the chef wasn't there but I could order off the regular menu. I'm not sure how you can order off the regular menu if the chef is not there either. If you don't want to offer the special then don't advertise it. We did not stay.

I used to love this restaurant, but sadly it has gone down hill over the last year or so. Last week we had a chicken curry from here it tasted as though the chicken was added to the sauce at the last moment, the chicken was bland and mushy. The prices are high for the poor quality and portion size of the food.

Total garbage compared to the Jersey City location. The food is far inferior here, and doesn't taste fresh at all. It tastes reheated.

As a Brit in NJ, moving to West Orange within delivery range of Brick Lane curry house ... oh, such joy. Truly the most authentic Ruby Murray I've had outside London. Between here, and The Pie Store, it's brought tears of sentimental happiness. Marvelous.
Vegetarian options: Fantastic and tasty selection of vegetarian and vegan options - enough to satisfy anyone.

This has been a favorite of ours since we moved to town 2 years ago but the last two times we’ve ordered, we’ve noticed a huge change in the quality. The chicken is now mixed/dark meat for the appetizers and mains - a big change from the all white meat that used to come standard with every meal. The meat is gamey and there’s no option to select just white meat. A bummer because we’ll be taking it out of our regular rotation…

Authentic Indian food experience right here in NJ!! I have been been sampling Indian food across N. America, England/Scotland and Switzerland over 30 years! If you cannot fly to London for a curry, come here for the similar experience!!! The staff were great and paced our meal perfectly: Shubha, Teja, Hashwanth - Thank You! :-) We will be back to share the experience with a larger group of our friends!
