This Fried Fish & other Seafood spot is a rare find in NJ. He has survived and he deliver Delicious Food daily. I continue to eat here and he does not disappoint. If he did, he'd fix it fast. Great family Business and people. Crocketts is the Top Fried Fish spot in NJ. I live in Roselle and we have 2 Fish shops and I Only drive to Crocketts to eat Fish. I wish he had more Staff to Open in Roselle to save the taste buds. Eat, Smile and Eat more at Crocketts 💯🙏🏾🥳

My first visit. I had scallops and fried whiting and both were really tasty and fresh. I really loved my scallops. I got there about fifteen to twenty minutes after calling and my food was ready when I arrived.

My family has been a long-time supporter of Crockett's for many years. My mother would regularly call in orders of whiting fried hard, and she always raved about how delicious and fresh the fish was, and whenever she craved whiting she would make the 30 minute drive to Crockett's. Sadly, the last time she came here she received a bad order of fish and vomited after eating it. Even before I knew it made her sick, the smell of the fish when she brought it home was rancid, which is very unlike Crockett's! When she brought it back to the restaurant, the woman who I believe is the owner opened up the pan she had eaten out of and told her she would not refund for the pieces she had eaten (the pieces that had made her vomit)! Only after my mother continually questioned her in front of other customers did she agree to refund the full amount.
Abysmal customer service and very questionable food safety practices! This is not the way you handle this kind of situation. Food safety is nothing to play about, especially when it comes to fish—even if you did not believe my mother, you have a duty as a restaurant owner to serve clean and safe food and you need to take all complaints seriously, especially when they are coming from loyal paying customers. Very disappointing.

BEWARE the food is ok but you have to becareful they are STEALING from people! They will short you on the food you ordered. I know a lot people that go there and they all say they have experinced the samething. So since it's so wide spread and it's happening too often I just thought I would warn everyone. If you or you know someone that has experinced this tell them to post a review. I recently picked up an order I called in. I was talking to my friend on the way home and sure enough she told me my order would be short and when I got home indeed it was!!! This was the second time I experinced this to. The first time I let it slide. I don't really live that close to the store. I live almost 7 miles away so it's not really paratical for me to return so they just keep your money. Doing this all day, everyday surley adds up. It's penny wise and yet dollor floolish. To add insult to injury it's mostly of people of color that supports thier Business. So make sure you let everyone know if you get a pick up order they are going to try and cheat you. Just think how many people are going to drive all the way back to the store for one item or two thats missing so this really adds up.

I have been a LONG time supporter of Crockett’s since they opened in the 90s. As a child my mother would take my brother and I there almost every weekend. Service was always exceptional, food was good and the mellow jazz music is the topper. Unfortunately, the last time I went was the complete opposite experience. Not knowing there was a change in prices I called in my order for myself and my family. Upon arrival the total I was given was completely unexpected. (Keep in mind I looked up the menu online prior to placing the order). I was embarrassed because she initially started to raise her voice higher to speak over me when I was attempting to show her the menu posted online. Now she’s raising her voice and yelling to her son to bring up the menu on his phone (which he didn’t). Now everyone in the restaurant is aware of the situation and her son is walking by nudging her to stop talking to me about the prices while she’s laughing. Visiting Crockett’s was always a nostalgic time for me especially given the fact that my brother passed. I was able to relive amazing memories by visiting. That experience has me thinking twice about ever going back. I have been a supporter of Crockett’s through the generations (I remember when they’re now adult children were babies) and it’s sad that the owner knowing that could treat a long time customer is such a manner. Still don’t know what was amusing to her about the situation, but it’s extremely disheartening!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!
