From the last time I ate there, 2 yrs ago the food has changed fish was ok, mac n cheese had no favor at all yams were good, hush puppies were nice n crispy on the outside mushy on the inside for the price the food to me should have been A+, can't go by the reviews all the time before the fish was on point
The potato salad tastes a warm hug from your favorite person! I must be honest, I love this place and everything on the menu. Unfortunately gentrification has not only taken a toll on the neighborhood but also the seasoning or lack thereof. That may be a problem for some but its perfect for those of us who actively watch our sodium intake. Nothing a little hot sauce can't fix although it's not needed in my opinion.

Amazing food and even better service! Feels like you get transported back to a simpler time. Felt like we were being taken care of by the owner as the young man behind the counter was so present and accommodating. Please support this place as it is truly a gem!
