We ordered paneer curry and vegetable Curry. Both were very sweet in taste and we did not like the taste and freshness .How can curry be so sweet ?
Lots of nice touches to elevate this dining experience. It was louder than I would have liked. Pulling down the music level will add to the ambience, not detract from it.
I have been here before and the food was better seasoned. The shrimp grassi was too much of a coconut cream where in the last there was a better balance. The eggplant was in the flavorless side. It could have been an off night. Our mocktails were comped as they forgot them. We did t receive a bread service in the beginning. It was an off night, but I will be back as previous dining experience was delightful.
pros: decor on point. cons: menu was all over the place, inconvenient to access, and overall uninspired. the small bites we tried (chettinad croquettes and paneer pinwheels) were lacking in flavor. dhaba ghosht was good, but nothing to write home about. however, the place was packed with indians.. iykyk, so maybe give it a try 🤷🏽♀️
We visited the restaurant for a special occasion and ordered a few appetizers and some entrees. I didn't eat much of one dish(apps), and our waiter noticed. He kindly asked if something was wrong, and after a brief chat, he suggested what I might enjoy more on my next visit. To my surprise, when I received the bill, that dish had been removed—completely unprompted. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a level of service that's hard to come by these days. That experience alone makes me want to return and recommend this place to friends and family. Excellent service really does make all the difference!
The service could have been better for the prices they charge. The food is average, had the vegetarian options from the small plate / large plate. Nothing that would make us want to return.
We were very excited to try this new restaurant as a group of 4 people. I made the reservation at least a week in advance but I was completely turned off about visiting this establishment again because on the evening of my reservations they told us our table had another reservation at 8pm and our reservation was at 6:30. Ninety minutes is not enough time for a group of four to have a meal of appetizers and entrees. There were several empty tables yet they pressed us to leave. Quite a shame because the food was very good and the service was quite nice.
Great experience from the time we walked through the door. The manager who greeted us noticed I was not pleased with our table and suggested another one that was more to our liking. Our waiter was pleasant, informative and professional. We were surprised that we were given a starter of focaccia type bread topped with Indian spices and served with a side of nicely piped butter. (Which was replenished.) The non-alcoholic drinks were delicious, creative and pretty. All of our main dishes were flavorful and though modern, did not compromise the authentic taste of a medley of Indian spices. We had lamb chops served with spiced potatoes & shredded carrots, branzino in a tangy tomato based sauce, grilled chicken in yogurt and spices, served with an Indian slaw and accompanied by yogurt and mint chutney and a very interesting dish with rice and yellow lentils topped with a variety of condiments that you mixed together yourself creating a myriad of amazing flavors. All was accompanied by white basmati rice on the house that was automatically replaced as needed. We were all full so only ordered one dessert to share which was perfect and light. Because they knew we were celebrating a birthday, dessert was compted. The murals on the walls were beautiful and while dining you are surrounded by flowers tastefully hanging from the ceilings. Wow! What a wonderful experience! We booked the same table before leaving for a date 3 weeks away!
Every time I come here the food never disappoints. We ordered chettinand chicken croquettes and rawalpindi channa chaat as appetizers, butter chicken with garlic naan and a rice dish with a bunch of different protein (can't remember the name) as our main course. Everything was very flavorful and there was enough to take some home as well. For dessert we tried the Kulfi and I would definitely have it again. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends (often) so I would encourage anyone to try out Dhamaal! The atmosphere is great and sometimes there's a DJ or live music.
Excellent. Delicious, really fun ambiance. A little heavy and a little expensive but still my favorite Indian in the area.

Food was really good . Our only comment would be that tandoori items should be served hot 😊
It was a wonderful experience. Food was so delicious. Service was amazing excellent. The live music was a bit loud and difficult to speak over it.
We come here regularly and always have a great experience. Love both the comfort classics (which includes a few surprise items from my youth) and especially the fusion cuisine. The vibe is upbeat and fun. Portion sizes are ample and we always have leftovers to enjoy the next day. We'll be back!
My wife had been before, but it was my first time at Dhamaal -- we look forward to coming back again soon! The food is beyond delicious -- each dish was presented beautifully and was an amazing experience! Definitely try the Kale "Pakora!" It exceeds your expectations in every way. And their "Bombay Twist Pizza!" is a fun and delicious fusion that complements the rest of the meal nicely. The service was friendly and attentive. When we arrived, the restaurant was overly warm (it had been a hot day) but cooled down when they opened the exterior sliding windows. Something they might anticipate better as the weather warms up. Overall, a memorable evening and one that we will have us coming back for more.
Food is delicious and plated beautifully. Drinks are all nonalcoholic and they are great too. It's byob if you want. The vibe is excellent - all the decor is stunning. Only downside was the gulab jamun churros were just ok. Churros weren't as crispy and I imagine churros to be and they didn't necessarily taste a lot like gulab jamun. Would absolutely go back though.
