I've been coming here for years!!! The most authentic Greek food I've had here in the states. Everything on the menu is a hit. The food takes about 10 minutes if you order in-person. Everything is fresh, tasty, and quality. There is limited seating indoors but plenty of additional seating outside to immerse yourself in the Montclair streetscape. The owner, Efi, is extremely accommodating and professional. She cares deeply about the quality of food and service. I can't recommend this place enough. Fair warning though: you will crave Efi's Gyro after trying it!

Solid, tasty, Mediterranean food. I’d ordered the grilled chicken brown rice bowl. It was paired with a Mediterranean salad and tzatziki. All of it was extremely delicious. However, the meat was a bit dry. The service was exceptional. The waitress was very kind, there was just construction work being done in the shop while I was having my dinner. There was also assembly of to go food in the front dining area, which was a bit strange. It’s quite busy. There were so many drivers there to pick up food! Not a place that would not recommend dining in, I would definitely order to go. It was great. I would come back here. I think you should too.

Maybe it's because I'm from London, I expect a delish Doner, this is definitely not. This is the second time ordering a subpar sandwich. the breads are dry & the amount of meat I received was a joke. sorry time to move on. Shame because the images online look spectacular!

Awesome chicken rice bowl with quinoa and the Passina salad at Efi's Gyro in Montclair.
When I landed at my airbnb in Montclair, I ran to CVS to stock up on water. The CVS has closed! A friend said she would drive me to Shoprite to stock up on breakfast and lunch items. I had enough time to grab the chicken bowl across the street.
I asked the staff member what was the healthiest item, & she suggested the chicken rice bowl with the quinoa and healthier Salas. It was delicious!!! Reasonable prices. I would have preferred to try the lamb, but that takes an extra 10 minutes to cook & I didn't have the time. The chicken rice bowl was so good, that I would order that again too! Highly recommend Efis Gyro !!!
Loveeeeee Efi’s gyros. I always order the grilled lamb. Chef kiss delish and the scrumptious French fries. Only bad thing is they don’t have any real beverages to choose from. You kind of have to grab something elsewhere. Staff is always pleasant. Highly recommend!!

Best gyro I've had in the states. From one greek to another, brávo! Come here any chance I can since discovering this place a a month ago. Lets just say I've gone out of my way to go a number of times already. Fries in the gyro as it should be. Tzatziki thick and creamy as it should be. Baklava fresh and flavorful, amazing!
