Really great restaurant for fresh seafood. Great for a nice date out, or to celebrate something. Atmosphere is terrific and the service is awesome. Worth it! But make a reservation. Can get quite busy

Oh the food is the freshest ever. Sushi bar rocks. Wait staff good looking, fun and helpful in selecting from the awesome dishes and specials. Fish tacos are superb. This is also best run location.

Really great experience on a quiet night. Skye was very nice as was the rest of the staff. Small but good wine selection. Salmon was yum and I'm west coast.

Pretty disappointing considering I had a great meal last weekend at Fin Raw Bar And Kitchen in Summit! I found out that 2 years ago a different owner bought that restaurant, but didn’t change the name. That explains why the Summit location was very good, and this restaurant wasn’t that great! The bread they start you with is rock hard and wasn’t fresh. We just sent it back! For appetizer we ordered the spring roll which was just ok, but the spicy mustard dipping sauce was tasty! For entrees we ordered the lobster and shrimp in a green curry sauce and macadamia New Zealand orange roughy. The lobster and shrimp was just fair, but I really didn’t care for the green curry sauce. The New Zealand orange roughy was bland and didn’t taste fresh at all! It flat out wasn’t good! We also ordered a side of lobster Mac and cheese which was served lukewarm, and it wasn’t decadent and cheesy! It wasn’t good! The lobster Mac and cheese was very disappointing considering the Summit location made it very good! But, again that location is under different ownership! For desserts we ordered the chocolate chip cookie sandwich and Louisiana bread pudding. The Louisiana bread pudding was the best thing we had here! It was delicious! The chocolate chip cookie sandwich was HORRIBLE! It was NOT fresh made chocolate chip cookies like you would think it would be! They were basically two low quality chocolate chip cookies made God knows when sandwiches between a low quality horrible ice cream! We sent it back, and exchanged it for the cheesecake. The cheesecake wasn’t good, and tasted like a cheap frozen supermarket cheesecake! The waitress was very nice, but we would NEVER come back! The food is mediocre with some things just not good at all! I recommend you skip this place as Montclair has far better restaurants! If your looking for a similar menu go to Fin Raw Bar in Summit which has a different owner with great food!
Every time I have dined here, the place has been nearly empty. I don’t get it. The food is great. There are not many places in Montclair where I can count on getting great fish dishes. And the lobster Shanghai dish is amazing.

I ate here on Friday 7/12/2019 with my family. The food was horrible and ridiculously over priced. I ordered lobster and shrimp. The lobster was flavorless and over cooked. The tuna tar tar my friend ordered was decent I'll give credit there. The appetizers were small and when we complained they didn't accommodate to us. Won't be coming back.

I, and some friends, went here for drinks and our bar tender, Greg, was amazing. He was able to recreate a beverage that he hadn't before and nailed it. We also had the crab cakes, they were flavorful, made with lump crabmeat and very little filler. I am looking forward to having dinner there soon.

I have been there several times and have ordered the lobster sliders. Last week we ordered it to go. When we go home, there was absolutely NO LOBSTER MEAT!! We called to speak to the manager and never got a phone call back!
