Wow. That's the best way to describe the fresh fresh food here. The cerviche is top notch. The place is very cute. The service warm and friendly. Our server Julian was great and able to explain each dish. The food was flavorful, fresh and DELICIOUS!!! The little sauces they provided added to the flavor and kicked some of the dishes up a notch!!! Don't miss this place. Can't wait to go back.
A truly great restaurant, that deserves to become much more popular/renowned than it already is (truly approaching Michelin level in terms of quality and presentation).
I had an amazing experience the food was delicious and the service top notch! Will come back again and again🥰
Amazing food! Amazing experience!
Fusionista is a fantastic spot to indulge in authentic Peruvian cuisine. I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The highlight of my meal was the Lomo Saltado, which exceeded all my expectations with its rich flavors and tender beef.
The service was equally commendable. My server, Justin, was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The service was not only fast but also friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.
The ambiance of Fusionista is another standout feature. The modern yet cozy environment makes it a perfect place for both casual dining and special occasions. The decor is tasteful, and the atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed.
Overall, Fusionista Modern Peruvian Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Peruvian food in a welcoming setting. I can't wait to return and try more dishes from their menu!
Great! Ceviche! Great food. As a Peruvian, I recommend their ceviche. Also, there was a great waiter, Justin, very attentive and well spoken. Keep it up.
Gabriella was AMAZING. My first time here and it won’t be the last!

Fusionista is a total gem! One of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The flavors were bold, fresh, and absolutely unforgettable.
We started with the ceviche, and wow—it was outstanding we ordered it twice. Bright, citrusy, perfectly balanced, the perfect hint of spice and so fresh it practically melted in your mouth. A total standout.
The lomo saltado was just as impressive—tender, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. That perfect blend of stir-fry savoriness and Peruvian spice made every bite incredible.
Also, huge shoutout to our server Jeremy—he was so sweet and helpful, made us feel totally taken care of, and gave great recommendations. The service really added to the experience.
Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
Awesome food. Jeremy was great

The food was excellent, most of us had never tries Peruvian food before but everything served exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, and everything was hot and fresh. Would definitely return and recommend.
Overall, the food was excellent. We had the mixed seafood ceviche appetizer along with the grilled octopus. We shared the entrees and had the mixed chaufa, lomo, and steak with pesto pasta. Highly recommend and will be back again.
Delicious Peruvian food. Great service, very precessional and accommodating staff. A very good experience.
Delicious! Standout dishes were the ceviche, fried yucca, and the steak with pesto tagliatelle! The classic ceviche was great, the leche de tigre was refreshing and had the perfect amount of twang, as was the white fish (Sea Bass was the catch of the day). The fried calamari and veggies made it accessible for my family at the table who weren't familiar with ceviche and not necessarily adventurous eaters. Fried yucca had a good crisp with a soft bite, retained heat well and was smothered in a delectable, creamy yellow sauce. You should try all three sauces, though! The steak-- wow! I was heavily considering the Lomo Saltado, but ended up going with the steak because the pesto pasta looked great, and it was! Finely cooked and seasoned steak with a light chimichurri was a smoky medium on the rarer side. The pasta had a good bite and the soft creamy pesto was delicious. It made for a good dipping sauce as well. I definitely enjoyed the octopus and pulled chicken croquettes, but I wasn't blown away by either dish. Overall, the food was more than enough for a hungry family of 4 and the bill was just over $30 per person. I'm very satisfied with the value and quality of the food! The restaurant is a quaint but cute luncheonette-style diner car with tasteful decor and art. Great location in downtown Montclair, but that means that street parking is hard to come by, good luck! Overall 9/10 birthday dinner, I will definitely return to try the lomo saltado!
The ceviche is terrific However the other choices are limited If you want meat the only choices are with a low cost grade of meat The dish was tasty but i would have preferred a brisket cut - more tender
