The drinks are fine however because they did not let me purchase more drinks to get the promotion items, those items are now sold out. Other gong chas let people purchase 20+ drinks but this one only let us get 1 promo item per person. I just wanted one more item and now I'll never have it. Along with the fact there's no place to park around this area I'm never coming back to this location again.

I called to place an order since they get busy but was answered by rude employees who placed me on hold, hanged up and when I got through (which I tried 3 times), responded with a terrible attitude. I called around 6:30 so it was not near closing to get this kind of attitude. Not worth it.

On 4/3, I ordered a cup of milk tea + boba and a cup of oolong tea on Uber Eats.I must say that by Taiwanese standards, this boba is not good at all. It tastes super hard and not chewy, and the milk tea seasoning is just average.I was looking forward to the taste of Taiwanese Boba and was disappointed.

Simple space, order and pickup area only. They had a bit of a hard time with a milk-only drink w/ bubbles and oreo sprinkles, but we eventually got it to work after twice charging.

Better than kung fu tea but they gotta change the fact that they have dine in on Google maps because I was going to come in for a meeting when I called in and double checked, finding out they didn't have any seating. Very inconvenient.
The teas are good enough, but the service last time I was here was pretty disappointing. The girl at the counter ignore me and my friends for a while, and when she finally acknowledged us, she wouldn't even reply a simple "hello." She just stood there staring at us like a robot, so we just proceeded to order.

I love this place sm but one of the cashiers was pretty rude and tried to fight my mom(she just wanted her drink to be remade bc it was too sweet?)Update: everything was resolved very professionally- and i went back and got yummy drinks again :)

Boba was great. If only the entire experience was great unfortunately. It was my first time visiting Montclair (I’m from Oregon) I thought the area was really nice and I wanted to try out gong cha with my husband because we love boba. One employee was extremely short and rude right off the bat. As a respectful and understanding customer, that wasn’t appreciated at all (I didn’t even get a greeting back??) she then proceeded to make the drinks aggressively which made us highly uncomfortable and unsatisfied. Should really train your employees how to suppress their attitudes.
