I think that they are very deceptive in their food offerings they called the sandwich of Panini with chicken and it was nothing like it it was a disgusting grilled cheese sandwich with yellow cheese all over losing out of it and disgusting patty chicken chunk and jalapeño chili peppers and onions not on Panini bread this was not a Panini was toasted white bread disgusting. I have to say that the smoothies are pretty good though

This store is under a new management, and I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience!!! The menu is refreshing and the owners took special care of our order. A must try out if you like smoothies, salads and some chit chatting :)

My family has only had good experiences at this place- including when our teen kids went alone with their friends. We’ve found the food fresh and enjoyed the slightly south Asian spices in some of their soups. Prices are among the most reasonable in Montclair. Strange combination of mostly 4/5* reviews punctuated by a smattering of 1* mostly related to perceived rudeness. I wonder if this is a cultural expectation thing as the owners are from Bangladesh. They have been nothing but friendly to us and others we know who have visited. Worth checking out for yourself.

I agree with the reviews about the rude owner. I kept giving this place a try but I cannot take the rude and unfriendiness of the owner. If you ask a question be prepared to get a rude and vague answer as if your question is a stupid one. This man has no people skills and impatiently stares you down while you're trying to decide what to order from the huge menu billboard that has so many options and requires time for you to read so you will likely have questions. If you ask them he gives you short, dry, vague, deadpan replies as if he wishes you already knew the answer. If you ask for more clarity he simply repeats the first short answer he gave you again with no elaboration. In essence, he's telling you that you have to get all the details you need from his first short and curt reply, and that he isn't going to speak you any more than that. He needs people skills training badly. If you look at the rude responses he's giving to customer complaints on these reviews you can get a sense of how he talks to people. That's probably why the place is always empty. He will not get my money again.

Chicken noodle soup definitely did not taste like it. Nothing how I expected chicken with vegetables to taste. Could do better. It’s a strong taste that makes it taste bitter and I found hair in my salad ?

great salads at a great price. AND they don't upcharge you for proteins or extras, you pay per pound. easily a better deal than sweetgeen and tastes better too and has more topping choices. great little downtown area too.

You and your wife were very pleasant in addition to the delicious food!First time at this spot today and I ordered a build your own salad with a falafel pattie on the side along with their vegan lentil soup and everything was delicious! The salad is big enough for three servings! I’ll be back for sure!!

The owner is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I rushed in with a 17 month year old baby trying to grab lunch before heading back to work and I left my mask. When I entered the store the owner started yelling don’t you see the sign on the door? I said I’m sorry I’m was rushing do you have one I can use? He said no go back to your car. I’ve worked in the Montclair area for over three years and I will be sure to never recommend this place to anyone. There is a right and wrong way to treat and talk to people!????
