I agree with the reviews about the rude owner. I kept giving this place a try but I cannot take the rude and unfriendiness of the owner. If you ask a question be prepared to get a rude and vague answer as if your question is a stupid one. This man has no people skills and impatiently stares you down while you're trying to decide what to order from the huge menu billboard that has so many options and requires time for you to read so you will likely have questions. If you ask them he gives you short, dry, vague, deadpan replies as if he wishes you already knew the answer. If you ask for more clarity he simply repeats the first short answer he gave you again with no elaboration. In essence, he's telling you that you have to get all the details you need from his first short and curt reply, and that he isn't going to speak you any more than that. He needs people skills training badly. If you look at the rude responses he's giving to customer complaints on these reviews you can get a sense of how he talks to people. That's probably why the place is always empty. He will not get my money again.

Chicken noodle soup definitely did not taste like it. Nothing how I expected chicken with vegetables to taste. Could do better. It’s a strong taste that makes it taste bitter and I found hair in my salad ?

great salads at a great price. AND they don't upcharge you for proteins or extras, you pay per pound. easily a better deal than sweetgeen and tastes better too and has more topping choices. great little downtown area too.

You and your wife were very pleasant in addition to the delicious food!First time at this spot today and I ordered a build your own salad with a falafel pattie on the side along with their vegan lentil soup and everything was delicious! The salad is big enough for three servings! I’ll be back for sure!!

Drinks are amazing! Taro bubble tea is one of the best I've had in a long while, and mango smoothie was so delicious. I also got the chance to try their chicken soup and chicken sandwich. Service was quick and friendly. I'm in the area every few weeks and will be back!

Don’t bother calling the phone. The girl who answers speaks little-to-no English, will answer “no” to every question asked, and then hang up on you. The owner isn’t much better from what I’ve heard. Scroll through these reviews to hear about all the laws his business breaks.

My husband and I split a California Garden burger and we each had a house special smoothie. So heathy and so delicious! My husband hates vegetables but he loved this, so you know it's good. Lol We're from out of town but we wish there was one local for us! We will definitely eat here every time we are in town!

The owner is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I rushed in with a 17 month year old baby trying to grab lunch before heading back to work and I left my mask. When I entered the store the owner started yelling don’t you see the sign on the door? I said I’m sorry I’m was rushing do you have one I can use? He said no go back to your car. I’ve worked in the Montclair area for over three years and I will be sure to never recommend this place to anyone. There is a right and wrong way to treat and talk to people!????

I'm all for the must wear a mask rule. No issue from me on having that rule. But in case someone doesnt have a mask have them to give out.As a result, I'm done. Used to go here twice a week and I forgot my mask once and got turned away after I was told they woudlnt provide one and asked me to go.

A gem! Everything is fresh and homemade, always vegan and veg options, you can customize everything. Love their juices, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Staff are friendly and have lots of regulars because they’re so great.Edited to add: Happy to wear a mask at any time for others safety during a pandemic.
