It's nice in terms of the food, but the music is classic rock, which was a little unusual in terms of what to expect from such a setting. I would anticipate jazz or classical music instead. The service was generally good.

Very noisy. The tables for 2 along the wall nearest to the bar area were squeezed so close together that you couldn't move. One of the banquets had a ripped seat. The service was very nice, but not engaging. Food was delicious & came out quickly, however I wouldn't return. At $180 for 1 app, 2 entrees & 2 glasses of wine & bottle of Pelligrino, I want to have a full positive experience

Food & drinks were delish. Our service however sucked. Aly had zero personality (I even tried joking with him) he also didn't check on us, I wanted to order another drink and had to physically get up and track him down via the hostess. It wasn't super crowded or busy despite being Sunday brunch so not sure why he never came to check on our table. I didn't expect a standup comedian show but he was so dry as if he could care less about us being there. I will return but will asked to be moved if seated in his section.

We ate here on a Sunday for dinner. Surprisingly, the kitchen closes at 7:15 and our reservation was for 7. We thought we would feel rushed but there was no rush and we received excellent service. We got the PEI Mussels with Pomme Frittes for starter. They came in a large bowl with the fries on top of the mussels. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasty and the mussels were in a creamy liquid sauce. The only problem was that a lot of the fries had fallen down into the sauce and were all soggy. It would have been much better if they had come in a separate plate or bowl. For our main dish we got the baked Cod. It was also perfect and flaky good. Will definitely be returning.
This is a long time favorite. They remained true to quality & quantity-not skimping like most restaurants do nowadays. Drinks & food were great & generous. I love that they always have the best oysters no matter the season. My cod was to die for! My server Peter was great & a real professional. My only critique is on ambience. I'd like to see the sporadic too bright lighting & no music fixed to be consistent throughout the place to create an enjoyable vibe.

We were enjoying a very nice dinner with friends. I ordered the $48.00 branzino which I have had on two other occasions. It is served with 2 filets and sides. When the dish was served with one filet I asked the server who promptly went to the kitchen to order a second filet. Instead, about 20 minutes later, the manager came over to say that the “ portion goes by weight, 7 oz and I that I was just ‘lucky'the other two times” I could not believe I spent $48.00 for a relatively small piece of fish. My husband and I both cook a lot of fish. There was no chance this was 7 oz. Very poor customer service and so disappointing. I won't be returning

We had an amazing experience at Halcyon last night. We had a little mishap, but the manager was all over it and did everything he could to make sure we still had a great experience to celebrate our friends birthday. The food was so delicious and the drinks were really good as well. Everyone loved their meals from the lobster dumplings to the paella to the taco appetizers. It was all great ! This was our second time here and will definitely not be our last!

Halcyon is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. This place is truly a hidden gem. I’ve been here multiple times for dinner and I’ve ordered different dishes every time, and they are all OUTSTANDING! It’s not easy to find a restaurant where literally everything on the menu is delicious. I am never disappointed! I also absolutely love the atmosphere and decor. The bar is beautiful, and I love the vibe. One of my favorite places by far!
