Very good but very expensive. Not too crazy about the fact that I only received 5 tuna “medallions” for my $44 entry. And my partners Old Fashioned” lacked the requisite sour cherry.
This was a bit of a disappointment. The main issues were the food (the shrimp and scallops were an oily mess, for example). The other issue was the ambiance. It's a nice restaurant on a Saturday night; the football game playing on screens at the bar detracted from that.
Had lunch at Halcyon in Montclair and really enjoyed the crispy tofu bowl. The tofu had a great crunch, the rice was filling and everything felt fresh without being heavy. Portions were solid, service was friendly, and the space has a nice vibe. Would definitely order this again.
