I went with my sisters and my niece to grab lunch and at first we were excited,than my food came out. I saw the roast beef sandwich on the menu and asked if they made it in fresh house, he said yes I do they make it every day. My sandwich arrived and it was rancid. It tasted like the inside of a freezer. I never want to be a problem so I just wasn’t going to eat it but my sister said just let them know and get something else to go. The owner said everything was made properly by his staff and they cannot give me anything else because the staff made it correctly. I am born and raised in Montclair and I have never been to a restaurant where they do not want you to come back. He said because it was a small restaurant and they can’t take it back. He explained that if he took stuff back they would never make money. He didn’t care about satisfaction he only cared about his bottom line. Money is not an issue, and we happily paid for whatever we ordered Including the sandwich I didn’t eat. It was the way the waitress came up and said it’s made properly and we can’t replace your order you could buy something else. This is my first experience here and I usually go to Mercado across the street but wanted to try something different. Bad idea. People coming for the location not the food. Being on Valley Rd. it’s easy to get customers but I’m sure no one returns. While I was there someone else was complaining about the chicken being dry but I was still hopeful. The food is not made fresh every day and the customer service was not satisfactory. I don’t usually do refuse but I was really taking back on how it was treated here and thought people should know before going.

Love this place so much! Fresh food, tons of options, clean space, wonderful environment and wonderful staff! My favorite is the shepards salad and cutlet BLT wrap! Definitely try this place out!

Recommended dishes: Roast Beef

This place is really cute and has great food. Flavors are on point, yet some dishes have a modern/American twist on the Mediterranean food. It compliments it well. You grab a menu, then go to the counter to order. Food comes out quick, and it's a big portion size. Great area to walk as well. Highly recommend.

I tell you what????? If I live in NJ, I would eat here daily. The fries are the best I have ever had! It didn't even make it home. I inhaled them as soon as I got to my car. Thank you guys for caring to makengood food for the people on NJ. I wish you would open a restaurant in Nashville TN.
