My go to for Mexican or just for an easy meal. Solid al pastor and enchiladas along with good tamales, especially the cheese. Love their fries too. If you are in Montclair, Glen Ridge, or Bloomfield hit it up.

I searched for tacos in Montclair and los Herman's Mexican Grill had a 4.7 rating. So I tried it based off the rating. I ordered $24 worth of tacos from chicken to El pastor, beef and chorizo. Except for the Chorizo, all the other meat tacos were absolutely terrible. The beef, chicken and el pastor have no seasoning and dry as hell. There was absolutely no seasoning on the meat. I repeat the tacos are very dry to eat. There was so bad that the people who bought them for, threw them away. I never write reviews. However, I had to write on this one. Because I just got robbed of $24.
I've never had such add tacos. However I can't say that the service was extraordinary. Cast here wasn't nice dude.

Amazing Breakfast burrito

This place was great! Husband got the chorizo breakfast burrito, I got the bistec a a la Mexicana, and we shared al pastor tacos. The tacos were DELICIOUS, and we both loved our main meals too. The bistec was enough for two meals, to be honest (no complaints here!). We will definitely be coming back.

The only bummer is that it seems like their entire menu isn’t available to order for pickup/delivery - but I’ll happily go in person to try more items!

BTW - we did delivery through DoorDash and everything came to our door super warm! (We live about 10 min away by car)

If you want authentic and fresh Mexican food this is the place. As soon as I saw the small Mexican restaurant I knew it was going to be legit. It was so delicious, we came back again the next day. The first day we had tacos dorados de pollo, torta de milanesa de pollo with an agua de jamaica. 1000/1000 the Jamaica (hibiscus) was perfect in flavor and not overly sweet. The second time we got a tamale, bistec a la mexicana, and the tacos again. The food is fresh and hot! The salsa taste like they just made it!It’s a very peaceful little restaurant. I would recommend it to everyone. Best of all it’s local!

Imagine paying $12 for chicken tenders and fries and a hibiscus drink and they put 3 pieces that look cut in half and a hand full of fries and act like it’s ok. This place needs to be shut down. It’s disgraceful, disrespectful and awful to put your hand out for money and provide trash service. This business should not be in Montclair and be such a waste of time.

Got a chicken quesadilla. It was fresh and flavorful, made on the grill in front of me. Corn tortillas are made in-house. Friendly service. Would be happy to order again.

the shrimp taco and chicken have a weird after taste as if they are not fresh i went there today spent $51.00 also bought steak didn't eat that i am so disappointed i will never return ?

The food here is sooo bomb. I come here all the time with friends. I’ve liked everything on the menu but my favorite is the chorizo sopes!!! With a close second being either the tamales or the Bisetc a la Mexicana!!
