The Proprietors response is inaccurate. But based on other reviews I expected to get a pushback response rather than an opportunity for the proprietor to do some investigation

cheesecake and carrot cake both very very dry... there was no frosting in the middle of the carrot cake

EVERYTHING tasted like lemon.

Cannoli cake was disappointing...also dry and tasted like lemon. The pics show how dark the cake was. Not authentic Italian taste (I am Italian)
And there was no cannoli on top, like shown on their website.

Yes we ate cake, as we had no other options, it was a birthday celebration after all.. alas, majority of everything was tossed in garbage ☹️

I walked in with my boyfriend and I walked into the bakery tonight to Sunima and a younger caucasian male. As we walk in we make eye contact with the employees who then both walk into the cleaning room in the back. We have to yell excuse me multiple times with no answer for the younger male to reluctantly come and help us. When other people come in they are welcomed and we felt like these were discriminatory actions.

Your response was a very strange way to address your employees shortcomings. You can clearly see there is a male and female working. You are the owner, you should know who you have on staff. Your reply just shows how unprofessional and distasteful you and your business are. They both saw us and never came out until I yelled excuse me multiple times. The boy did not want to help us and I have every right to feel upset. You defending/making up a false story is very telling.

One of our faves! We moved to this area in 2021 and we’ve been a regular to this place ever since. Almost all of their items are good, but our repeat orders are cannolis, napoleon, tiramisu, bombolone, pine nut cookies, almond biscotti. The only thing they can incorporate is to take custom order for cakes, but the pre-made ones are good as well.

I have to say it. I don’t leave reviews usually. But i have to say this cafe has really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered a siciliano and staff if i remember correctly safel made it delicious. LEGENDARYYY!!! Will come back

I ordered from grubhub.com. Not only did the driver not follow delivery instructions, but the food was more m disappointing!! The website says cheesecake is like $12, and a small is $6.

When it arrived, we observed 2 bite-size morsels, similar to what you'd see on an.appetizer plate at a party.

UTTERLY & TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!!

EXCELLENTE!!! Best pastry around! A fave breakfast spot for a cappuccino and pastry. ❤️
