I am quite disappointed on what i have brought to my friends house as some sweets to enjoy for the night. My wife & I walk into the cafe hoping to get delicious pastries & we were greeted by a young lady who was patient with me being picky & asking questions. I wanted to make sure the things i bring to someones house was worth it, tasted & looked good. She was very accommodating which is a 10/10 service. We had chosen a chocolate muse cake, i believe lobster tail, cheesecake which was horrendous, lotus cookie, & tiramisu. My wife chose the cheesecake in order to be “safe” BOYYYYYYY how that went south very quickly when we tried jt. They all look very beautifully put together but when we tried the pastries we were disappointed as well as our friends. We had tried the chocolate muse which was fluffy rich & smooth which everyone liked & we were excited for the rest. We then try the tiramisu which was more jello like & jiggly & did not look so appealing. Everyone was not a fan…
We then wanted the balance of a safe on so we try the cheesecake & as we bit with it it was crumbly & we thought it was a plane cheesecake but it had like a nasty lemon flavor to it. We all spit it out. I am not trying to be rude or anything of that sort but i have been to many many places & tried many foods but by far this one really made my stomach unwell. We then move onto lobster tail with the cream inside. The cream was soft & very light but the pastry was not crispy & actually very stale which again another disappointment infront of our friends we were embarrassed. We didnt even know what to tell them. We spent $33 on this box of nothing i could have spent elsewhere & had a better experience. We finally had a lotus cookie which was in second place to all these pastries. It tasted like lotus crunchy & soft no comment on that. I believe the pastries need to be worked on ALOT but as of right now it would def not be my go to for sweets. We shall come once again to try the place in the future & update.

Claims to be an Italian Bakery, it's not, very limited italian pastries. Mostly americanized with very little as advertised. Its posing Italian and from what I seen it's not.

Several times now I’ve ordered something, and instead of calling to ask what I want to replace something they don’t have they just give me something else I don’t want or like. The first time I just complained and didn’t let anyone see it. The second time I complained so no one could see it. This time I’m like come on I’ve giving you two other chances. My fault. I guess now I know and should spread the word. On top of this I’ve hard three different very hard pastries giving to me. It’s just terrible service, absolutely terrible.

Honestly I was excited to come here to try their pastries, so I decided to get a tiramisu. But it legit didn’t taste like a tiramisu would, that’s why I give this place 3 stars. Nice area to study and sit but I wish the tiramisu was better since I was looking forward to it.
You have to make a stop at Mattarellos! It's the only Italian bakery in town and their treats are top notch. We absolutely love their cannolis and their pumpkin pie is a seasonal must-have.
One of the things we appreciate most is their wide selection of gluten-free and dairy-free options. It’s rare to find a bakery that offers both incredible traditional treats and such thoughtful allergen-friendly choices without compromising on flavor.
The quality is consistently outstanding, the staff is always friendly, and everything feels made with care. Highly recommend!

I came here this past Sunday on the 19th to the bakery. The community was beautiful. The atmosphere was nice and the diverse culture in town was a breath of fresh air. I came into the bakery and it is such a beautiful bakery with lots of varieties and selections, but two inexperienced young men The customer service was great. The seating area was plenty, but the selections were horrible. I chose the cheesecake which was absolutely disgusting and I have had cheesecake from all over the world and this place was by far the worst the cheesecake taste like processed lemon juice. It had no sugar in it, and it was hard. I chose the lobster tail pastry and the cookie the cookie was tart and flavorless and the lobster tail filling custard was overpowered with almond extract and no sugar. I kindly went up to the associate, and I explained to him in a low voice that it wasn’t good at all, and that they should consider changing the ingredients in the product. He was respectful and apologized, but didn’t come up with a solution or a refund of any kind which I wasn’t expecting, but I felt that it was the most justified thing to do because I didn’t finish it. I feel they need to change bakers or add people from the outside. These were two young men that were Not from this country Who I guess open up a little business and is trying to make it and I am not trying to shoot the business down because it’s a nice business but the pastry selections there are disgusting. The only thing that’s good is the coffee because you can’t mess that up

Honestly with the hype of this place I have to say this was extremely disappointing, borderline offensive with how much they charge for how bad the quality is. I got a Nutella salted cookie. Which was about $5 and it was disappointing. I also got a mini cupcake the size of what you get at a supermarket $3 and not good. Staff was great though. Atmosphere was pleasant. But the food is not good.

The cookies are really good but the prices are high. Really wish they’d offer more variety since there aren’t many Italian bakeries in the area. I went in today, the man serving me meant well but it was a struggle. I only tried to order 3 types of cookies and I still came home missing cookies after repeating myself many times. I’m not sure if I paid for them or not, but I got 5 little Italian cookies and 1 big smores cookie and it cost $18
So glad I don't live near here or i would be as big as a barn. Test run with a choc chip cookie-- unlike other bakeries, this was a very flavorful cookie with plenty of chips AND a big ole center of more cookie goodness. Other exceptional cookie options available as well as many tasty pastries. Will be back.

The food is good service is nice. So a decided to take some pastries home. They put it in a box and a paper bag. I live 15 min away. See what happened to them. Today is Rosh Hashanah - Jewish New year. I am invited to a festive dinner and this was what I wanted to bring. See photos and judge yourselves!
This is a sweet spot work many options to choose from. I would go back for sure!

This cafe is so cute and cozy. The staff member is super friendly. However, everything I bought was very underwhelming. I paid $22 for a large cannoli, an iced matcha, and candy fish. I was craving a cannoli and decided to try this place and I did not like it at all. The cannoli shell had a weird aftertaste and tasted like an unsweetened crispy funnel cake/fried dough of some sort. The filling for the cannoli didn’t taste like other cannolis I have tried from other places and was a little too lemony and fell flat. The chocolate pieces I could barely taste as they seemed to have been chopped up mini pieces of chocolate that melted into the cannoli cream with no chocolate taste at all. Best I can compare the taste is to a store brand vanilla cookie with crème.
The iced matcha with oat milk I got tasted like straight oat milk and was very pale in color. I kindly asked the staff member if he can add more matcha because it tasted like a cup of oat milk and he happily added more, but it still tasted like oat milk and since the matcha was hot and melted the ice I drank warm oat milk basically.
The candy fish was good and I think it’s supposed to be a better take on Swedish fish using more natural ingredients.
Overall, what I bought was disappointing but if you are in the area maybe you will like the desserts. I will say a lot of the desserts I saw looked good so maybe I just chose one that isn’t their star dessert. I would definitely be willing to try a different dessert and skip the matcha if I ever go again because the atmosphere of the cafe is nice and the staff are kind.
