I love a home run...a trifecta :)It's a cozy but clean location...bright & warm vibe with the woods & metals. What can make it more welcoming???!!! A baked goods, sandwich, and other goodies glass showcase as soon as you step in....sorry no picture! The service is AMAZING by far #1 on my list of places BUT not over bearing. They took care of all our needs with kindness & gentleness while allowing us to enjoy our time together. The food tasted as if from FARM TO TABLE...fresh, crisp, warm and light. The arepas were perfect...my grandma and mom are straight from Colombia so arepas are huge...these meet the criteria, soft but cooked on the inside and grilled perfectly, moist not dry. My son's Eggs Benedict was delish and the bread wasn't the usual English muffin instead a thick slice of heavenly toast. The avocado toast was unbelievable and scrumptious. I had both Arepa dishes...both very good but the beef and cheese was exceptional :)Look forward to going back!

The food was delish!! My firm did lunch, I had the 4 cheese Gnocchi, beef empanada and apple turn over. My coworkers had the grill chicken wrap w fries, the spicy chicken sandwich w fries, butter/sage ravioli, chicken empanada and of course some croissants. The food was prepared and packaged well, everything was hot and everything was yummy!! We also ordered some drinks and forgot one, the staff eagerly delivered it to our office. They went above and beyond and it was appreciated. From the guy who answered the phone to the guy who delivered the coffee, they were fantastic. Strongly recommend the food, the staff and the ambiance. Wishing the Owner many years of success!

Loved it! The servers were so kind and efficient and the food is a unique experience. I wish they had more signature drink options, but their chai latte was the best I've ever had. The edamame avocado toast is such a fun twist on a classic and their fresh bakery is very clearly fresh. My party and I had a wonderful experience - definite repeat.Parking: We went there for an early brunch on Sunday with good weather - plenty of free street parking.

My favorite cafe in North Jersey. Not only are the food and drinks AMAZING, but the service is even better! Onelio is the best and so accommodating with my allergy - I look forward to coming in because of the staff every time! 10/10 recommend! (Place has a great name, too ?)

I really, really wanted to love this place, but won’t be going back, primarily due to the extremely poor service. I understand it was busy, but the number of errors was just egregious. We were a party of two adults and one child there during brunch hours today and though we were greeted very warmly and seated within ten minutes despite not having a reservation (we called ahead to see if they’d even be able to accommodate us, it being Easter Sunday), things pretty much went south from there service-wise. We ordered the steak sandwich, a matcha latte, the arepa Reina Pepiada, a strawberry juice, a croissant, and pancakes which we specifically asked for PLAIN—nothing on them, with chocolate chips ON THE SIDE (picky kid). Nothing complicated! First the drinks came out, latte was fine. Strawberry juice was good, BUT I immediately tasted the rosemary, which I did not ask for (the menu has a strawberry juice and a strawberry juice with rosemary). Not wanting to make a fuss (and having liked it well enough) I just drank it. However, had it been my partner, who HATES rosemary... Next, my partner was brought a Cuban sandwhich. She had been considering it…so I was doubting whether she’d ordered it by accident, but she was sure she said steak and decided to ask the waiter. She said “it’s ok, I’m going to eat this anyway, but I think I ordered the steak” and this man looked right at her with a straight face (after having said “Cuban sandwich” when he first put it down) and said “yes that’s the steak sandwhich.” It was very clearly NOT, I could see the ham and pulled pork and cheese…I don’t know if we were just shocked or what, but we were just trying to have a nice afternoon and decided not to get into an argument with a person who literally lied to our faces. To me this was the worst part of the whole experience. The customer literally tells you not to worry, that they aren’t going to send it back, and you still lie and tell them that what’s on their plate is something it’s not? I wish this was an isolated incident but I saw at least one other review where someone had this same experience. Whoever this server(s) is, stop doing that! It’s extremely disrespectful to the client and is the main reason we won’t be returning or recommending it. Taste-wise the Cuban sandwhich was ok. I thought my arepa was actually really good, however it was more like a Gordita than an arepa. The banana peppers and sauce it came with were really tasty. It could have used a side though. Finally, the pancakes come out and, you guessed it, the chocolate chips are IN the pancakes. Luckily our child had some of them, but that doesn’t take away the fact that our explicit instructions were ignored. If you don’t do adjustments, just say so. Don’t lie and say you can accommodate and then just not do it. Croissant never came, thankfully was not on the bill. All in all, the service was very inattentive. We were checked in on so rarely that we had to wait 10-15 min to be a able to ask for some sugar (not on our table, it was on others) and I ended up getting more napkins from the counter myself. It’s really a shame because I saw a lot of good things on the menu but who wants to pay the price of eating out these days only to be half-ignored, order gotten all wrong and then on top of it be blatantly lied to and gaslit? If the service issues were fixed this place could be really great, awesome location, the atmosphere was nice, very clean, bright and airy, also very clean bathroom. The atmosphere and potential in the food are the reasons this is not a 2 star review.

Montclair's most underrated restaurant. Tonight we visited the place with some friends, I can say that the food was spectacular, the place was very comfortable and beautiful and the service was excellent, our waiter was very friendly, I really liked how he helped our girl with her food. Warm human people is what is always needed! A great experience!

Let me start off by saying everything we ate was absolutely delicious.however, we made reservations and weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our time. It took a while for us to get our order taken, and appetizers came after the main meal. What shocked me the most was the price tag on the French toast. Would you believe me if I told you I paid $16 for one piece of bread cut in half. Now they are pricey overall, but this one item just blew my mind. I cannot see anyone having their fill from this. I absolutely love French toast and always order this for breakfast no matter where I go. This is the first place I’ve ever received this little bit of food for that price tag.Again the ambiance was very nice and so was the staff. I really love everything about this restaurant overall, however the price point for this item that is not going to fill you up really took me back. If you were to ask me how you could rectify this I would tell you to at minimum double the portion.

Went there for brunch but was not quite happy with the food quality. Ordered eggs benedict which was cold and didn’t taste good and my friend ordered Avacado toast which was also just fine. Nothing great. I also made reservation but they still made us wait for 20 more minutes. FYI For people who are vegetarian there is nothing else in the brunch menu apart from avo toast and no salad or anything on the side

Very disorganized, way too loud in this place.Food is okay but that’s if you don’t get it 20 min late.Update: the manager is great, she apologized for all the mistakes. (Some items came out without certain items, few dishes came out 20 min late) she provided us with a gift card. Very nice gesture.I have changed my review to reflect the manager.

I'm so perplexed with any of the positive reviews. The menu was so odd and the food was just not good. This is supposed to be a mediterranean restaurant with a Latin flare. The menu does not reflect that. We ordered the pork dumplings, which is Asian not Mediterranean and or Latin because it was limited given Valentine's Day. They served it with melted cheddar cheese. It was not very good. We also ordered the gnocchi which the menu stayed served with a cream sauce. It was served with a tasteless "pesto" sauce and edamames. The gnocchi's were lumps of sticky undercooked thick potatoes. Nothing about them were light or flavorful. The Arepa was more of a meat sandwich on hard bread. It was one of the most perplexing menus and dinner we've had in a long time. WhatI would really like to see since the owner is Dominican is just a great Dominican restaurant. They should serve traditional Dominican food like rice and beans, tostones and roast pork as an example. This would be wonderful for Montclair, an authentic Dominican restaurant. That's my vote. I hope the owner read it and takes my advice.
