This is one of my favorite local restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The farmers market omelette with goat cheese is a must, as are the pancakes! Great lattes and pressed juices as well.

I just ordered a macha, a cappuccino, and 2 health bars from grouphub. I just received my grouphub order from Mercado in Montclair and my order was all wrong. The large cappuccino was half filled with mostly foam and hardly no coffee, and the macha was a mocha, and they were both cold and I asked for extra hot! I tried calling the restaurant. The number is unavailable. I tried contacting grouphub they are unavailable, I'm disappointed! Not only am I dissatisfied, but I don't have the beverage that I asked for, and the whole order was horrible, and I ended up spending $30.64 on my entire order that was incorrect and the restauran's number is unavailable so you cant contact anyone there to fix this mistake! It's very frustrating! Never come to this place.

We just moved to the area so we had to try this place out. It didn’t disappoint. We like the vibes of the restaurant. Nice and clean. Food is great. And coffee is on point. 10/10 would recommend!

Today we went for Brunch at Mercado; we had the farmers breakfast and pancakes. The pancakes were really fluffy and the cinnamon butter on top was divine! We love the coffee and cake here too - you really can’t go wrong with this little spot. There’s outdoor seating too - perfect for those warm summer days!

A cute place to grab some brunch! I had the brioche French toast and with a cup of hibiscus tea and both were very good!
Mercado in Montclair is a wonderful spot for a relaxed lunch. The space has a beautiful, airy feel with its high ceilings, and the atmosphere is both modern and welcoming. We had the salmon bowl and a couple of their sandwiches—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It’s also a nice bonus to have a coffee and pastry bar right there for a sweet finish or a midday pick-me-up.

My going to Mercado was a fluke! Visiting my brother I got a huge nail in my tire and so was waiting for it to be fixed when I wandered by. A very nice gentleman who was wiping down outdoor tables wished me a good morning and I said well let’s see that this place is all about. He was the reason I looked it up and the menu was the reason I went in to eat. The quality and delightfulness of that amazing breakfast is why I’m writing a very rare review. I can’t fault one thing. I got the egg white frittata sandwich, the Mercado breakfast potatoes and the blueberry Rosemary lemon spritz (might be off in the name a little). It was all so comforting so delicious. Almost feels like the nail in the tire was worth it all. Please please please try Mercado. The people are great the food is even better. 10000% will revisit.

It was fine. Tried a few times - Pancakes and French toast are some of the best I’ve had. Food is ok, you seat yourself, order yourself (pay at the same time) and wait at your table for food. Staff passes by once or twice after they bring your food to see if you need anything. Very clean, even the bathrooms. I’d go back to try a few other things and will adjust this review if necessary.
