Food is ALWAYS fantastic and always ready sooner than expected. I can’t recommend them enough!
If you like oatmeal I recommend you get theirs with the caramelized bananas. You will not be disappointed.

From the moment we walked past this place, we could SMELL how special it was… the alluring aroma was hard to stay away from. On a whim, we walked in and were warmly greeted by staff and invited to sit quite promptly despite being so busy. First impression: great!
Service was excellent, and ambiance was very warm. But the food… the food was the star of this place. If you ever pass by this place, PLEASE do yourselves the favor and try the banana oatmeal. It is a perfect treat to end your meal as a pseudo dessert. Anything from this menu will tantalize your tastebuds in a way that will keep you coming back for more.

This was such a sneaky little killer spot. Wow. The potatoes look pretty ordinary but the flavour was genuinely incredible. The portions were huge too! Plates were devoured in minutes, yum

I tried Minias for the first time this weekend for Sunday brunch. It’s a cute, cozy restaurant in Montclair. It’s a little small, but you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. I ordered the mangu as well as a chai latte. I liked the mangu — it was pretty good ! Chai latte was on the smaller side, maybe I’ll ask for a larger size next time .
The service was okay. I felt a bit rushed, but they were attentive, which I appreciated. My friend ordered the chivito al plato, but the sirloin was overdone and a bit chewy — not something I’d order if I go back.
Overall, I’d give this place another try, and I definitely recommend the mangu.

Low key, high quality! In a foodie town this is quietly one of the top tier, while keeping the vibe chill and the prices reasonable. Delicious food - everything made from
Scratch - and you can tell. Feels like food that nourishes you as well as tastes great! Their shaken iced espresso latte with house syrup was *chefs kiss*. And the team were attentive, warm and kind. I will be visiting often!

The atmosphere is super cozy.
Nataly, the barista, was awesome, really friendly and she made an amazing mocha. You can tell she knows what she’s doing.
The other girl, the server, was also really kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect, which I appreciated. The food was delicious, I got a bowl and a wrap, and both were fresh, flavorful, and really well-made.

This was my third visit to Minia's and wow, just wow... blew me away yet again! My friend grabbed a seat outside on a Saturday morning for brunch, it was the perfect day for it too.
You have to try the Dominican drink called morir sonando. It's made with orange juice, milk, cane sugar, and chopped ice. You can order it with OJ or fresh passion fruit juice; either or is good. I also tried the Caribbean style oatmeal with caramelized bananas on top. SOOOOOOO good. And a vegetable quesadilla with fries.
My friend ordered mangu con los tres golpes (mashed plantains, fried cheese, fried salami, and & sauteed onions) and a loaded chitvito uruguayo sandwich (steak, ham, bacon, mozzarella, egg , lettuce, tomato & mayo on an onions roll).
The service was quick and attentive plus the space is small and cozy. 10/10 recommend for breakfast and lunch!

I went today for breakfast. My waitress got my order wrong. It didn’t bother me that my Cappuccino took a half hour to come.. food was bland.
Ordered via Uber eats. French toast sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich to start our Saturday. Food arrived early, homemade French toast, large sandwiches, and fresh ingredients. If your looking for something light. The yogurt parfait is my favorite.

The staff were nice just a bit busy, tried to accommodate. The food and drinks (nonalcoholic)were good. A bit of a wait limited seating, limited space/tight seating. Go early in the morning or an hour b4 closing. Paid parking on street or parking lot across from building.

Bought a smoothie ($10) simply so I’d have a place to sit and relax while I waited for my car to get maintenanced down the road. They gave me the wrong smoothie, but I just sucked it up because I didn’t want to make them have to do it again. I sat at an empty table outside. A few minutes later, an employee came and told me I had to leave the table so he could seat other guests there. I was literally shocked. There are 2 tables outside, many more inside, and I literally bought their overpriced smoothie just to sit down. Definitely won’t come again. Super embarrassing.

Both the food and their homemade Passion fruit drink were excellent. I'm not sure how large the back of the restaurant was, but it was little at the front. For a party of six, the meal arrived in a respectable length of time. The cheque contained a tip. There isn't a kids' menu.
