Make sure you don’t show up before 11:30. They’re not open. Here’s a pic of the door to prove that the hours online are wrong even though it says hours were verified by the establishment. Don’t waste your time.

Ordered 24 Mochinuts for my daughter's school birthday celebration. Scheduled pick up for 8:15am and store closed. The hours on the door say Sun-Thus 11:30am to 8pm so we assumed the online ordering platform was wrong. When I called later to get my money back, staff said they were open at 8am it's just everyone was running late. My husband was there until 8:25am or so and nothing. I understand things come up but you would think someone would at least call and apologize. I wasn't looking for more than that. Even when I called, it felt like a shoulder shrug through the phone.

so expensive but good. don't understand why it's like 9$ for 3 donuts but ok haha

I have always been a fan of mochi donuts and Mochinut is a reliable chain with really great donuts. Parking here can be difficult so expect street parking. I got a dozen donuts with flavors: black sesame, churro, Oreo, Vietnamese coffee, and strawberry. My favorite flavor was the black sesame. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Mochinut! They are my favorite kinds of donuts. The flavors are all so delicious but my favorite are oreo, glazed and churro. I love how light the food tastes even though you are eating a donut. This place is also really cute because you can play board games, sit around at the tables and even order different types of coffee.Their Thai iced tea boba is another one of my favorites.

Keep in mind since there's so many flavors, it's random what donuts will be sold daily! Really good donuts! I highly recommend the taro donut! The boba is pretty good, just make sure to mix before drinking it!

Tasty donuts, cool vibe. However, these are pricey compared to your regular donut shop. Nice treats once in a while. Bought the ube, Oreo, MS, fruity pebbles, and matcha. Friendly service, roomy, board and card games, good place to grab a treat.

Place is good, if you are looking for a different kind of sweet. Donuts are made with rice flour, and are exactly like the ones I used to eat in akihabara ( Tokyo) .we try the nutella, and oreos, pretty good, we need to go back to try the churros flavor.

I've been this location as well as the Summit location and I like how this one has some seating areas. The mango donut is so good. Not too sweet and a bit tangy and so chewy. Highly recommend!

This place is colorful and has a nice gimmick, but I found it to just be nice, sweet donut with little round shapes instead of a solid ring. The mochi niche didn't seem to make a big taste difference to me.Most of the donuts also had random wafers or cereal attached to them, which looked a little goofy. There are signs saying cost for 3/6/12 and you can see the ones available at a given time, but there isn't notification for the cost of 1 and some of the flavors cost more even though no signs indicate that which I found a little shady. Like I would have to a) pay more despite nothing indicating 1 flavor is more than any other b) hold up the line and substitute flavors c) get out of line and wait again. None of those seemed great. And $3-4 for a donut is a little on the steep side.I got the Nutella, but unluckily the packaging left more Nutella on the bag than on the donut. The white chocolate is premium (I guess) and held onto more icing. Both were delicious and sweet, and the little balls made it easy to rip apart and share. This is a very crowded street so not easy to park and get to, and I'm glad I tried it. I think the uniqueness of the product and look isn't enough to make me go out of my way to return.

First time trying mochi donuts and I was hooked. I bought 6 to try a variety of flavors. All of them were pretty good except the dark chocolate with the Ferrero rocher, the chocolate tasted cheap and not of quality. The churro, both fruity pebbles, and coconut were pretty good. The funnel cake had a very strong, tart strawberry drizzle that wasn't to my liking. All donuts were fluffy but the churro was my favorite.

Montclair is getting heats up! Used to visit its sister store in Fort Lee, happy to see it now open in Downtown Montclair, same level food and service, highly recommend corn hotdog, crispy and full mouth of happiness!

Service was great. Shop was cute. But these were the worst tasting mochinut donuts I've ever had! The taste/flavor was terrible. Nutella wasn't Nutella it was like fudge syrup and messy. And it wasn't even a good tasting fudge syrup at that. We had to throw away the rest of the box it was that bad.

What a cool concept! I've never had mochi donuts but I'm glad I did! The dough is so soft and delicious. And all the different flavors were so cool and fun to try. I will say it had a weird smell inside, but that did not affect the mochinuts! If you haven't tried one, this is the place to do it.

Ok these reviews are not doing this place Justice. I am honestly a big foodie and have had the opportunity to taste an abundance of meals from copious cultures and honestly these donuts were incredible . The outside being a beautiful texture and the inside a melting in your mouth fluffy cloud . I have to come back You have to try this.
