Get there early before the line builds up! There is indoor and outdoor seating. I picked up some sourdough donuts, brioche doughnuts and a few loaves of sourdough bread. There were several people behind the counter to make sure everyone was helped quickly.

Always passed by this place but it was my first time going in today and wow!! The vibes are so adorable, very antique cottage house-esque and the selection of sweets and baked goods from donuts to ice cream to baguettes was incredible. Not to mention the really friendly staff! Plus there’s a really great outdoor seating area that is so laid back. Highly highly recommend!

Morning Day Glory Muffin was really tasty and with the perfect amount of sweetness not too over the top and well baked. but I decided to take it out and ate it at my car as I couldn’t stand the face of distaste from the employee attending the register. I was feeling judged and held unaccountable as I interpreted the employee must have been in a bad mood taking in consideration the way she treated me. Disappointed. Montclair is amazing for their coffee shops and pastries and was expecting to invest further but seems it’s a big miss.

I’ve been a customer since Montclair Bread opened & have recommended it time and time again. Now that they’ve changed hands, the service has gone down hill and is a far cry from the Montclair Bread that was a pillar of the community particularly during COVID.

Strap in for this one. It starts with a lost IPhone and ends with a kind staff that brightened my day with delicious doughnuts 🍩 (maple bourbon/fruity pebbles) on the house. Recommend both, but the sourdough one gives you an amazing kick at the end. As for the lost phone the staff went out of their way to look and unfortunately, I now unwillingly own a new Iphone 16. The horchata sourdoughnut likes rent free in my head 🤤 one of the best donuts I’ve ever had!
