Ok. Food spicy at 3 and but that flavorful otherwise. Ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Vindaloo, Burn Garlic Rice Veg (like), fish curry home style, two garlic naan. Naan dried out and thin, not that garlicky. Very friendly helpful service. Picked up lunch. He loves the potato sandwich and chicken kathi.

this narrow, but pleasant Indian restaurant is situated at the end of a strip mall. The food was good, but I think when we went, they were probably not open that long. Service was a bit slow. We brought our own wine, as we usually do with restaurants without liquor licenses. Then we were told that they don't have a license to allow people to bring their own alcohol. The owner said it's an ordinance in Montclair. he was very nice and apologetic but we really like to have some wine with dinner when we are out. Never heard of that as we have been to countless restaurants in New Jersey without liquor licenses and have always brought our own. Maybe it's a quirk of the town. We called a few weeks later and they said that they now have that license. we will probably go back as we do love Indian food and this was pretty good. Hopefully the service has improved as they ironed out the wrinkles of a new restaurant.

If you’re from Maharashtra and are tired of substandard pav bhaji and vada pav at every Indian restaurant, then behold - this is the greatest pav bhaji you’ll find in the state.First up - they have the pav that is the closest to what you can get in Maharashtra. Soft and flatter - none of the buffed up nonsense being served up everywhere else.The bhaji itself is excellent and buttery.I’m going to have dreams about this dinner!Highly recommend trying out the gulab jamun as well. It’s made fresh and served hot! Excellent food and thoroughly enjoyed.

First off, I must commend Mumbai Maska on their ambience and professionalism. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the service was quick, and the space was extremely clean and pleasant. Now, the food - in one word, AWESOME. I had the Kathi roll, Pav Bhaji (extra butter) and Chicken curry in Goan Sauce. The pav bhaji had the most exquisite blend of spicy and umami flavors, the vegetables were cooked to perfection, and not mashed to the point where they lose all semblance of texture. The extra butter buns had a perfectly crispy sear with a bouncy and fluffy interior. The Kathi rolls and Goan Chicken curry were also on point, with great portion sizes, fresh ingredients and a light zesty flavor. I am a fan and will return to this place any time I come back to this area. The only thing I would recommend is to have an off-menu spice level for true chillyheads like me.And the chai is DIVINE. Must have.Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious options. This is coming from a meat lover who was tempted by the smell of it.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible.

The food is AMAZING. The chicken Tikka bao buns were an unexpected surprise . Not only were they (2) flavorful but they were large. The honey garlic gobhi was a flavor explosion...crispy sweet and garlicky (akin to veggies fried chicken. This is a must try. excellent service!
