I recently went to this location, because my mom had a taste for a lobster roll since she was aware it was "National Lobster Day"...LOL So I googled a local spot & this came up and it did NOT disappoint!! Service was inviting, quick and pleasant. Food was FRESH and YUMMY! We will definitely return. I recommed if you're in the Montclair area please check out!

Food was delicious. Tried a different roll this trip. I tried the cold lobster roll with diced tomatoes & avocado. Fantastic!We always eat there when we order. There are counters to eat at.My only complaint was not enough drink choices this time. Only diet soda and carbonated water.Parking: Metered parking out front

Clean interior, friendly and welcoming services, these are my first impression entering the restaurant. I have passed by this place many times, never get to try their food, at first I didn't realize what they are, now I'm glad we have a fresh local lobster roll restaurant in the area. I ordered a cold classic roll and it's amazing. They offered a great amount of chunky meaty lobster, in both tail and claw (I love tail more than claw) perfect mix. Definitely coming back

Can't really comment each time I went there they were closed. The website and hours on the door stated they were open. Very disappointing, the locals said they make their own hours - as I learn more it was probably an off the cuff response not based on fact.Edit: I changed this slightly to two stars as I received an explanation in the response. I will try one more time on my next visit to Jersey in a few months. I would suggest posting unexpected closures on social media to alert potential customers. I love places like this, so I wish them all the best in the future. I'll check back after my next visit.

This place has cancelled my order 6 times in the past few days. I keep receiving recommendations and reading all the good reviews and I can't even try the food. Neither of their numbers work, and they never give a reason for cancelling. The restaurant always shows up as closed regardless of when I order -- I've even scheduled a day ahead a couple times and those were cancelled too. Decided to take the drive up there to pick it up and as of 3:32pm, It's closed. Possibly good food, terrible service and business practice. Please update your operating hours accordingly.

i could eat their lobster rolls everyday and not get bored of them. fresh lobster meat. and perfect amount of butter/mayo. definitely recommend it.
