Okay - I rarely write reviews ... but sometimes I just have to because the experience is so memorable... be it good or bad. In this case bad. My apologies to the owners - but hopefully you will read this and really evaluate your business operations. The "avocado toast" should be renamed "large cold bread w one poached egg." It was cold and its was smushy - not toast like at all... basically terrible. We also had the eggplant parm which is actually a sandwich. It was ALOT of bread with the thinnest, most over cooked piece of eggplant I've ever tried to bite or cut thru. It was almost like rubber chip. I ate the food out of desperation -- and the fact that I spent $27. Lastly, No table service. I had to order from counter and then sit down and wait for food To come to the table. It was unclear as to whether I was supposed to clear the table or leave the dishes behind. The space is rather cute-- speaker system lacking. I could see two small blue tooth speakers behind the counter on the shelves but I couldn't hear much music from our window seat. In sum... there is a lot of competition in Montclair. You can do ALOT better brunch/lunch for the same $27 in Montclair. I get the sense that this is a first rodeo for this restaurant owner. With any luck they will check out their competition and get it together.

Paper Moon has quickly become my favorite spots in Montclair. The food is always fresh and delicious and the owner is very sweet and delightful to talk to.

This place is disgusting. The food is horrible. The owner and manager nasty attitude . If I was a good critic, I give an F grade

Delicious and well thought out food at this Italian style cafe. I've had a couple of fresh, tasty, and well stuffed paninis. Also a nice selection of loose leaf teas. I haven't tried any of the desserts yet but they look delicious. I hope this place gains the following it deserves.

This modest storefront could easily be overlooked, which would be a shame because one cannot go wrong with the items on its menu. My tuna panini is about the closest in the US you'll get to a Pan Bagnat - the delicious salad Nicoise sandwich found in Provence. The food is fresh, nicely portioned, tasty. A great place to meet for breakfast or lunch, and now I understand it will be serving dinner, too.

Cute little place with delicious food. We stopped in for a late lunch and had a fresh fettuccine dish and caprese (which they happily put on a ciabata). The sauce was ridiculously tasty and all the veggies were fresh and flavorful. Also had a latte, so good.

Swung by as I noticed it had just opened. Had an unexpected amazing breakfast frittata. It was option A on the breakfast menu. It seemed apparent that the ingredients were all very high quality. The loose green tea was delicious as well!! Definitely a great place to grab a bite and even work remotely from while enjoying.

We stopped in at this cafe on the corner of Park and Bloomfield. The decor is modern and inviting- blacks with pops of yellow. The food is all organic and fresh. We tried the chicken panini and the mozzarella and pesto panini. They were both delicious. We also had the tiramisu- yum and iced coffees - which were smooth and full bodied. We will definitely be frequent visitors!

Great cappuccino and latte ! Had oat milk and was actually sad when I saw the bottom of my cup. Outdoor seating and a spotless restroom. Love it !

This is a cute little breakfast/lunch spot that just opened in Montclair. In fact, they hung up their sign outside today. I hope this place lasts. My friend and I stopped by for breakfast and everything was fresh and tasty. We split a piece of thick toast with ricotta cheese, figs and honey. Tasted as delicious as you could imagine. I had a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs with pesto and ricotta on ciabatta bread; while my friend had an equally good sandwich with scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese. The decor is bright and sunny, and the staff is very friendly.
