One of my favorite coffee places. They always have an amazing assortment of coffees at very reasonable prices. The fist class Las Nubes Wush was amazing today!

Paper Planes is an awesome coffee shop with tasty and unique drinks. Watch out for the crowds on the weekend. They are there for a reason because this place is one of the best coffee shops in Essex County!

Friendly staff, good coffee flavors. Tried the Milo-presos latte with oat milk and it was amazing!

Since we moved to the neighborhood, we've been going here at least 2-3x a week for the past several months. I love the outdoor seating. Vibes are chill. The iced lattes are good (espressos and recently ube), but I don't prefer the matcha. I enjoy the seasonal drinks to the menu (though bit pricey). The cafe has this unique scent which is also in the drinks I order. I'm not sure what it is. The interior is well decorated and elegant.

Their almond croissant is one of the best I've ever had. Tastes delicious even at room temperature and it's crisp but not falling apart.

The biggest issue I have which happened twice in the past month... I found a long hair strand (returned to them to remake) and an eyelash. I understand it happens when food/drinks are prepared so I won't be too upset. Unfortunately, I'm now hesitant and have to double check my drinks.

No doubt, this place is great overall, but I hope they can be more attentive to the sanitary measures.

The best coffee shop in NJ! Quick service, friendly staff, love the decor. I don't live local and it's always worth it for a day trip. They are very supportive of small business owners in their community too!

Paper Plane is the best coffee shop in Montclair — and I don’t even drink coffee! Yet somehow, I still find myself there all the time. My go-to is the Butterboo with oat milk, but every month when they switch up the menu, I try whatever’s new and it’s always amazing.

And the aesthetics? Just perfect. It’s adorable, creative, and gives total “airport café” vibes — like the spot you stop at when you’re on a layover from work. It’s cozy, intentional, and such a vibe.

Paper Planes is truly one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever visited. Highly, highly recommend! ✨☕️💛

Great space and coffee

The manager of the store went above and beyond for us today. Far more than his duties as a coffee shop owner. He was very comforting when i was in distress in the cafe about something unrelated, and not only was the coffee good itself, but the community of people there felt like a family.

This has to be one of my absolute favorite coffee shops of all time! Whether it’s the cold brew, the hot coffee or the seasonal decor, I always find a reason to come back. Love the cross section of the plane as decoration too!

Every time I'm in Montclair I love to stop here and grab a drink. I appreciate the option to get an interesting coffee drink or just a standard coffee depending on my mood. The staff is always friendly and while it can get very busy the line generally moves quickly. Had a halloween themed drink with Ube and Espresso and it was delicious!

Love it here. Every time I go it is a lovely time. fully packed or slow they stay moving with great energy, asked a couple questions today about the menu and Sofie (or sophie) answered all of them so kindly. My favorite menu of drinks around, abundant in clean and fresh flavors. Quince Fincas pour over & hibiscus berry tea 😍
