Drove over an hour to visit and it did not disappoint! It’s hard to find a full gluten free establishment and they completely nailed it! The 1/2 yardbird pieces were deliciously crunchy and seasoned. The crispy chicken sandwich was amazing! The ‘naughty’ waffle fries were a fun twist to the ordinary waffle fries. Fried pickle spears were so tasty. OMG and cannot forget the cornbread! The cornbread was the size of a mega muffin and so flavorful! Huge bonus… GF beer on draft!!

The food is good - high quality ingredients and non-typical flavors. You're going to get a higher end burger with a more sophisticated flavor profile. If you're looking for typical then head to the diner. My brisket sandwich was pretty awesome, but a little small and no sides making it kind of a disappointing value. Also - turn the heat on?

This place has really great barbecue. The chicken wings are cooked well but didn’t have much flavor. I wish the portion for the brussel sprouts was bigger and the kimchi apples weren’t actual “kimchi” since it wasn’t fermented therefore wasn’t really kimchi flavor either. The brussel sprouts were yummy. We got the loaded fries and since they were so loaded they got very soggy by the end but in the beginning they were good!

Alcohol is served separate at the bar inside. I paid cash and the guy never gave me back the change and assumed the leftover was a tip. Luckily it was, but my party still found it rude that he never returned. I also needed to ask for a glass of water and was hoping when he gave my change I could ask. Another bartender saw us looking for a tender and helped us. Weird

Everything is a la carte (order and pay per item) and there are no servers. Someone comes around to buss the tables but otherwise nobody is serving you. It equals out for the slightly high prices. You get a buzzer and go to the front to pick up your food. There’s a Gatorade jug in the corner with water if needed.

I’d come here again and would want to try experiencing the outside area in the summer away from the loud sports games on the tv

Came by for lunch last weekend and was very satisfied! The portions are a good size for the price, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Good tunes and the natural lighting is beautiful. The place smells incredible with all of the full, smoky scents swirling around. Solid variety of drinks at the bar. Will definitely be revisiting.

Was very excited about the portion for the half rack of ribs, but I was very disappointed. The meat was very dry and had an off-taste that is difficult to describe. Ultimately I ate about two ribs before tossing them, which I really didn’t want to do after spending $17. Unfortunately I got takeout, so I can’t necessarily get a refund. I also got the brisket sandwich, which was better than the ribs but still like a 5/10.

On the bright side, the location is beautiful and the atmosphere is very casual which I appreciate.

This place desperately needs to upgrade their ribs if they’re going to market themselves as a barbecue spot. Maybe it’s a different style of rib that I’m not accustomed to, but a friend of mine agreed with me from their previous experience.

First time visiting. Good number of selections for food and drink. We had fried chicken which hubby said was excellent, I found it a little salty but overall good. The fried green tomatoes were some of the best we've ever had. The pulled pork was just ok. There is a good amount of parking and seating.

Rats, filth and overpriced. So disappointed to have unfortunately gone, the food is salty and and way to expensive for the quality especially since it takes such a long time to leave the kitchen. At the order window they had a problem with me asking how long it was going to ske since it had already been 25 tenders and fries with a pickle. I was concerned my order was lost, and I saw and caught a picture of a rat in their establishment and I'd never want to come again. athe picture is taken on October 13th, 2024.

I was here during the Montclair Jazz Festival and was refused service along several other people of color. The bartender was shouting “Stop talking to me” when we were trying to get his attention! Then when the owner came over he dismissed his behavior and said “Well do you want a drink or not”!

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RACIST PLACE!!!

I stand by my review! No one yelled at the bartender until AFTER he kept shouting stop talking to me.

I PERSONALLY witnessed the bartender shouting at a group of POC! It wasn’t until AFTER this exchange that the situation escalated and the owner came over and acted as if NOTHING was wrong with the bartender’s behavior!

I started explaining what happened to the owner who acted as thought NOTHING was wrong and JUSTIFIED the bartender’s actions! His response was “Do you want a drink or not”!!!!

He didn’t try to deescalate the situation or apologize.

I took the drinks and threw them out because I didn’t see them being made and didn’t trust them!

Again, don’t support this business!
