Perhaps they had a bad night, but what a bad experience. Met friends there who had ordered a Pizza for my wife and I as we were running late. Arrived, waitress got back to the table 15 minutes later. No Problem, they were busy and we were catching cup with our friends. Ordered 2 beers for my wife and myself & friends ordered couple of glasses of wine for themselves. 10 minutes later wine comes. After another 15 Minutes , their food comes. Another 15 minutes, no beer, no pizza, no waitress. Finally flag her down and ask for the bill. I have to get the bill corrected as they charged for the pizza. After 55 minutes walking out hungry. But at least they had water on the table. With all the dining options in Montclair, you've got to do better. I'll never be back.

Came for a concert and the wait (45- 1 hour) for food and drinks. Please consider days when the wellmont has concerts and staff accordingly. They did comp our meal and the waitresses were very kind and apologetic. Food was ok. Nothing special.

Man I had to review, since I see this place getting slammed. I feel bad for businesses that have to put up with that. If it was warranted it's one thing, but it's not this place has always been a great place to come to. Love coming here and will be back for sure

It’s an underwhelming experience. There is a limited menu and lack of flexibility for items they do serve. The ambiance is relaxed and it seems the draw to porta is for drinks ! We ordered the calamari and it was mediocre. The meatball pizza was okay. The pasta ordered was surprisingly spicy. Huge let down overall especially for such a foodie town.

We recently attended a big surprise party for a family member and had an amazing experience at Porta. While the food was great, the service truly made the experience stand out, in particular, David. He truly wanted to make it a special night for the birthday girl and he went out of his way to accommodate everyone, even the little ones with chocolate milk orders. His kindness and attention to the guests made it a wonderful night for all! We look forward to coming back and having David serve us!

They were easy to plan with, gave us so many options for pricing/layout of the space and were incredible the day of to execute the party and meet our overall vision..
