Inefficient service, if they are not supplied, do not work with delivery applications, they tell you 5 minutes and give you the order in 30 minutes. Lack of respect.

Visited for the first time this morning. There was maybe a handful of patrons dining in. Staff didn’t acknowledge me for a while. After a minute a girl came to the counter and just stared, waiting for me to approach her —no greeting or anything. She had an attitude as if we had beef or something? Lol. Left me to finish up paying & whatnot as she walked away to finish eating something. Maybe I interrupted her breakfast, haha. She was really smiley and nice to her coworkers though. No one said anything to me before I left. Weird. Very turned off by that interaction. The vanilla chai I got was pretty good, but not worth the crappy feeling I had after being there.
Been coming here for years & it’s consistent with having delicious food & drinks. Healthy options & when I asked for no toast she offered me a side salad instead. Great for kids too ?

I’ve always had a good experience at Red Eye. They have good, fresh food options and reasonable prices. They’re always busy so it seems like others really like it as well. Today however, was my first time getting a matcha latte there and it is more of a milky color as opposed to the emerald green that it’s supposed to be which could mean a few things- 1) they didn’t use enough or 2) the matcha they have is old or of poor quality. Good matcha will always be a spring-green color so beware!
A cozy Cafe away from Bloomfield Avenue's congestion and noise. Great coffee and a great menu. Only about a dozen tables, mostly two-tops. The wait can get a bit long.
Dietary restrictions: Several gluten-free choices and all are clearly marked.

I really enjoy the food here, but every time I visit, I feel unnoticed. There’s no greeting or acknowledgment. I end up standing there awkwardly until I finally speak up. It seems like only the familiar faces get a warm welcome.

We didn’t get food for 1hour. We left before our food came. Guy took 2 mins to peel a carrot. Hot chocolate took 20 mins and tasted like sugar water. Other people complained about hairs in their food.

I had an amazing experience at the Red Eye Cafe! The service was top-notch, with a special shoutout to Zoe, who was incredibly accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, especially the avocado toast, which was perfectly prepared. The prices were very reasonable, making it a great spot for a delightful meal. The outdoor dining area added a lovely touch to the experience, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a pleasant setting. Highly recommend!

Very good food. Latte was good-not too sweet even though it was a brown sugar latte. The sludge cold brew was tasty. Frittata sandwich was egg whites and vegetables on a whole grain toast with siracha. Blueberry pancakes were good. Service was good. They have extra seating in the adjacent alleyway for nice weather. There is street parking.

Great local cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. Food is tasty and so is the coffee and pastries. Service is always quick and friendly. We always get the green eggs and ham and the pancakes. Omelettes are also tasty and fluffy. Enjoy!

Do not get the Root Down. I was excited to try it but it was so bad that I unfortunately have to write this review. Unfortunately there was a vinegar base taste to the veggies. It really didn't need it. I only ate the poached egg on top.

Red eye cafe has flavorful food, a friendly staff, reasonable prices and a quaint ambiance. The dinning area is somewhat small and can be a little noisy but it is a unique cafe with personality and I would certainly plan on returning.
