Samba is FANTASTIC! We are not local and every time we have dined in or done takeout the staff goes above and beyond. The food is amazing and so safe, knowing that it’s 100% gluten free, we can relax and enjoy. Try the BOLINHO DE MANDIOCA as an appetizer, it’s amazing! Everything is!

When the check comes to around $80 per person, I expect a truly five-star experience—precise execution, layered flavors, and at least one moment of genuine awe. While this meal was solid, it never reached that level.
We dined as a group of eight. I ordered the mahi-mahi and shrimp in coconut sauce, but unfortunately the fish was overcooked, which took away from what could have been a standout dish. The highlights of the evening were the cheese bread and the passion fruit dessert, both of which were excellent.
At this price point, I expect elevated food to match the elevated cost. Based on this experience, I’m not convinced it does, and I’m unsure I’d return.

We had been there 10 yrs ago, and remembered the ambiance was very nice. This time we went for healthy food and some music. We were so pleasantly surprised once again. The food was delicious, the service was quick, the ambiance, once again was outstanding with soft Brazilian music playing in the background. The staff is so sweet and attentive. And if you're looking for great taste in your gluten free meal, this is the place for you. Also saved some money because its byob :) I highly recommend it.

Ate here today when we were just walking around Bloomfield Ave in Montclair and found this place. Glad we did. Food was really good. We started with soup of the day and had Leek soup. Boy, it was creamy and delicious. Very tasty and great option if you're a vegetarian. We then had some kind of croquette filled with codfish with green sauce on the side. We loved it. Came with four on the plate. Perfect. And last we had grilled chicken (3 thinly sliced) with mixed vegetables. Also came with a cup of white rice and black beans. It was awesome. Service was fantastic. Staff worked like a team. Appreciated it. Very attentive. Place is stylish and comfortable. Brazilian touch.

Just fantastic experience. My friend and I were both marveling at the beautiful decor and tableware. The Avocado and egg toast was delicious and the cheese bread was dangerously good- I could have eaten a plate of those. Really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere and music in this restaurant that really stands out from the others in this neighborhood.

Yesterday's brunch was amazing fresh ingredients with an amazing atmosphere great place to go for a nice meal worth the 40 minute drive.
Great experience at Samba! The Brazilian cheese bread were served warm and were absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance inside was vibrant and welcoming. The steak with yuca fries was very good, and the coconut lemonade was refreshing and flavorful—definitely a must-try. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and I'd happily come back!
