Had a wonderful Lunch with wife and daughter who was celebrating an adult birthday. The service was impeccable, attentive but not distracting or annoying. The food was terrific. It was well prepared, presented beautifully and of adequate portions. It was our 2nd time at Samba's and hopefully it will not be our last. Highly recommend.

Samba - Montclair was a completely delightful experience. Excellent menu choices, delicious food, generous portions, kind and friendly staff, efficient service. We had to box up our leftovers (way too good to leave behind), and were given beautiful cloth bags with Samba's logo to carry home. This is a wonderful restaurant, highly recommend!!

Great tasting food - ordered the Feijoida croquettes, incredible Mahi Mahi and Shrimp entree. My dining partnered was vegan and found some great items on that portion of the menu as well. Cheese Bread must have. Servers were awesome and always attentive and the portions larger than expected - it came with a high quality to-go bag that can literally work for grocery shopping!

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. LOVED that everything is gluten-free - and SO tasty! Too many delicious items to choose from! The mushroom soup was devine and the chocolate cake and flan were superb! Wonderful pairings of flavors. I can't wait to go back!

Overall a nice experience. But we had a dinner res at 6:45 and they rushed us to put in the order and then rushed us out as they closed at 8. We did not even get to enjoy a basic 2 hour dinner. On Sundays they should not take reservations beyond 6pm so people feel like they have enjoyed the meal properly. They are pricey so that wasn't cool. But the people and the restaurant overall are very nice.

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. As someone with dietary restrictions it's awesome to find a place like Samba to eat a quality meal without the risk of getting sick. Those who don't eat gluten free won't even notice a difference. Going to head back for dessert next!!

Excellent food and service. I have celiac and was able to eat everything due to their gluten free kitchen. It was so nice to be able to eat the delicious table bread, dinner and dessert just like the rest of my family. We plan to go back!

The wait staff was very kind and polite, but unfortunately good service couldn't make up for the poor food quality. The empanadas and cheese bread were not fresh, and not warm enough. Empanadas were dry. Fries smelled too much on old oil.
The food was so yummy and the vibe was warm and friendly and cool. Really felt like we were in the right place. The vibe was perfect.

I found this restaurant on Google because it was gluten free and close to where we were seeing a show. The entire place is CERTIFIED Gluten Free!! I love that. I ate here with no worries of cross contamination or anything! And the food was delicious and the waiters and waitresses were attentive without being annoying and the ambiance was great. The only thing was the noise but we were sitting outside at a sidewalk table so there was people passing by and some traffic noise. Will I go back?? Absolutely!! And I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a delicious meal gf or not!! 5 stars
