Wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Comfy seating with nooks to plug in and work. Locally authored books in the shelves. The chai has a perfect balance of herbs and spices and is not too sweet. Also had an amazing empanada and a freshly baked-on-premises cookie. Love the local focus of this cafe. Will come back again to try the fresh leaf teas and the other empanadas.

This place is such a vibe! I visited after my eye dr appointment and it most certainly won’t be my last time visiting. I had a special coffee called the Samoa and it was amazing. I also had a chocolate croissant that was flaky and filled to the brim. I’m writing this review days After visiting this establishment because I can’t get the coffee out of my head. If you were in the area and need a place to work remotely or just enjoy a great cup of coffee, this is the place for you.

Rolled up to Sankofa Café to catch up on some work mid-day, and it’s hands-down the best setup I’ve found for getting things done. There’s a loungy space, private booths, and more than enough charging spots for laptops or gear. It gives you that Starbucks pre-COVID feeling for remote workers—but with more character.
The staff were super welcoming, and the food and drinks were solid. I went with an almond croissant and a chai latte—both hit the spot. Comfortable, well-designed, and friendly. Great pit stop for anyone who works on the go.

I finally got to this place and it’s absolutely lovely in every way. The space is so cozy yet roomy. There are different types of seating that lend to hanging out with a friend or to do your work on a laptop. The drip coffee struck a nice balance between being fruity and smooth. Then I order an iced matcha with skim milk and it was delicious. I look forward to visiting often.

I was surprisingly happy to have come across Sankofa Cafe!!!! What a charming cafe - great atmosphere, suave and rustic ambience, and EXCEPTIONAL coffee and food. Also excellent customer service!!!! 20 out of 10!!!!!!!! My place to go from now on, for sure!!!!!

I was dropping my wife off at the dentist next door to SanKofa and stumbled in. I immediately feel in love with this place. I use to work at Panera but now I’ll be working from here. I highly recommend the chicken empanadas and pink rose lemon tea!
