I really appreciate them having a gluten-free menu and lots of options, not just a salad. I tried their gluten free general tsos shrimp and shaved marinated brocoli shoots as an appetizer. It was generally good but shrimp was a bit overcooked. I will come back to taste their other dishes.

What happened to the food at this place? Always was my favorite place for great food. We ordered take out on Thursday and the food was not up to par. If I want mediocre food, I can stay in my own neighborhood and not drive 1/2 hour each way for this! Ordered the spicy wontons for an appetizer and they did not come with the usual hot chili oil but some brown oil that had no spice. We ordered two main courses both of which were supposed to be spicy and they were not! Also, both tasted odd. I have had all these dishes before so I know what they are supposed to taste like. I hope the chef just had an off night. I will try one more time and if there is not an improvement back to the way things were, they have lost a customer forever!

This is sad for me. The food here has gone completely downhill, off a cliff and into a dumpster in the last year or two. TS Ma used to be dependably delicious, or at least taste like something. Now the lo mein is flavorless, the Chinese broccoli watery and overdone, and the sesame chicken soggy and underwhelming. I will not be ordering from here again.

Best Szichuan Chinese restaurant in the NYC area. Unfortunately the Montclair location no longer has dine in (and it’s the better of the two locations) but we drive 30 minutes sometimes to order their takeout.
Excellent food, extremely fresh and generous. I don’t eat Chinese food very often and had a craving for it tonight. I heard this place was one of the best in the area and it truly is! Highly recommend.

Don’t trust their gluten free menu, there’s contamination going on within there kitchen that’s caused our household sever stomach issues. Tried to contact the website to speak with management as this is unacceptable.

First time order, seems like you pay for presentation. Portions are small for the price. My chicken was very chewy and the breading was … stale? I wouldn’t recommend & probably won’t order again. Delivery fee was only $1, so that’s nice. If I didn’t do delivery, I honestly probably would have bought it back.
