Welcoming family owned and operated restaurant. The food was delicious - we got the Chicken Tagine, Lamb Tagine and Beef Couscous to share for table. Food is flavorful and service was excellent. This is the perfect spot for an unpretentious, satisfying meal with friends or family.

We were in Montclair, a town full of restaurants. We went into this small morrocan restaurant, and what a surprise! The food couldn't be better. The cook herself came to check (in a broken English) if everything was O.K. We had babaganush, a chick pea salad, and chicken cous-cous. The service was amazing. We will return for sure! On Valley Rd.

We went there on a Saturday evening for a small, simple dinner. Service was quick, helpful, and very friendly. We got a yogurt mint appetizer... The bowl was quite large (and we took a lot home). Not normally a fan of this dish, but I really liked this one. We split a roast half chicken over couscous, which was seasoned with something sweet, and had chickpeas, raisins, and root vegetables... Delicious! Highly recommended, and we will be returning!

If you've ever had real Moroccan food, you'll be disappointed. The pita and semolina are from a box, the "roasted chickpeas" are from a can (mixed with onions and tomatoes) and the main dishes don't seem to be made on site. They tasted like they had just been warmed up. The decor is a bit cold and customers are seated very close together, which can be awkward. Morroco has extraordinary food. Unfortunately this place doesn't do it justice.

Ordered zalook and chickpea salad for a late light lunch before meeting friends for dinner. Very delicious. Friendly owner. Husband and I will be back for breakfast and dinner and a taste of Moroccan dessert. Good cappuccino.
Everything was so delicious; loved the lamb tangine. It’s so flavorful and so tender. Even the French fries were so good. Highly recommended.

Taste of Morocco was an excellent experience! The food was fantastic. The dishes were full of flavor and beautifully presented. Don’t miss the lamb tagine, their signature dish, it was superb! The meat fell off the bone and very tasty. Edman and Manal are the lovely owners and they were very gracious and attentive. We will be back!
