Chocolate scone was worse than what you would get from a street cart vendor. Chocolate tasted cheap and the scone part didn’t taste like anything at all. Just tried The apple and berry pie and it is bland, practically tasteless. We also bought a shepherds pie and I am dreading that culinary experience. Never again. Huge waste of money. Whole Foods’ berry pie is even way better than this overpriced dreck.

Wonderful selection of English foods. Street parking only. Didn't ask for restrooms. Try the Soccer Pie.

Full of English food and the best Cornish pasty outside of Cornwall, even if it's technically not a Cornish pasty

Absolutely terrible. Pumpkin scone is nasty. Taste like flour and baking soda. How can you be from the UK and make something that taste so awful. Sally Lynn’s in Chester makes better scones. Now I’m scared to try the pasty that I bought. Also, the prices are very high 😬 everything comes cold by the way. Nothing is warm😑

Meat rolls are given to you cold. The first few times I came here I would be given my sausage rolls warmed up and ready to eat immediately (without asking). Which was nice because I’d come on my lunch break but this time it was cold. I asked if it’d be warmed up as usual and I was told no, put it in my oven at 350. I work 45 minutes from home so that unfortunately wasn’t an option. There should be a sign clarifying ALL food is given cold, not just the pies.

Such a great little shop with amazing people! My husband and I made a pit stop at the shop for our Anniversary because he knows how much I love this place (haven’t been there for many years), and they were super sweet to us. The food is as good as it was 13 years ago!

I was in London in January and had the most delicious beef and gravy pies from 2 restaurants. When I came back I searched for where I could find some here. I found this place which is in a great area of montclair. I got beef and mushrooms and a chicken. Didn't try the chicken yet but the beef pie is bland. Has thick gravy, nice tender thick cuts of beef but lacking in flavor and the crust was flaky but I expected buttery. I would have been better off with a Marie Callendars pot pie. For that kind of money it needed to taste better. They don't heat them unless they happen to be just coming out of the oven and they don't have seating. It's just a pick up and go

A lot of the stuff here looks and smells great - Nice shop and I'll come back and try more.

That said - The Shepards Pie is just so simple/plain that it's not worth buying for the price. Try something else.

Admittedly I am from Cornwall in the U.K. so I guess this makes me an ‘expert’ on Cornish Pasties but these were singularly the worst version I have ever had. Anyone who knows this pie will know it’s NEVER made with ground meat but that’s what they have gone for, presumably because it’s cheaper than using chuck steak. Couple that with the lack of black pepper ( another vital component) and you are left with what I had a tasteless soggy hand pie.

First time customer. I had heard about the Key Lime pie being great . I found it to be good tasting but way too much sugar.Never again.I had nightmares all night from the sugar.

We’ve always wanted to try a mince pie, and this year I finally went for it . I got a mince pie from the pie store and it was absolutely delicious! So fresh, baked perfectly, with such tasty filling, my whole family loved it. Just had to put it in the oven for 15 mins and done!
The whole place has such a pleasant vibe, from their chicken pot pie to apple pie everything is great!

While the pies truly are wonderful and delicious, it's good to know that this isn't a cozy, sit-down type of place. It's a pickup counter with friendly service. But they won't heat up a pie for you.

Cheddar cheese scones, chocolate mousse pie, and chicken madras soccer pie are to die for. No doubt everything else is great too!

This place is daylight robbery. Only come for the pastrys and avoid the British snacks completely. They don’t list the prices for any of the snacks and it is such a rip off - almost double any other British speciality shop I have been to in the US. 15 dollars for twiglets and 10 dollars for sherbet lemons is greedy. I shouldn’t have spent my money here.
