This small and cozy middle eastern restaurant offers delicious, unpretentious, authentic dishes. We enjoyed all of the appetizers and entrees ordered, with the veggie moussaka being my favorite! Will definitely return.
It is a very low-key, casual place with delicious food. Our group of six all enjoyed it and we appreciated the number of vegetarian and some vegan options.
first time.. we met a friend for brunch. great menu selection. well prepared and tasty. a casual meal and not pressed for time . highly recommend this place
It was ok... Nothing to make us want to rush back for another experience...The noise level was high bc a large family were having a birthday celebration.

Great beef and chicken shawerma. Very nicely and tastefully decorated. Freshly baked thin pita bread is great. Also liked the green mint tea, Moroccan style.

Tried the appetizer sampler, a wonderful variety of flavors. All the food was delicious, affordable, healthy. Fun decor and ambiance. A great BYOB restaurant- we will be back and bring friends and visitors from out of town.
A standard in Montclair. Great if you want that bistro flair, BYOB of Pinot Noir and just enjoy the night.
Delicious! The pita is amazing. Had chicken shawarma this time, so good. My wife had Lamb tajine, was a little too sweet for her tastes, but I thought it was excellent.
Service was friendly, polite, and not in your face, which I appreciated.
Small but great local spot in Montclair that won't kill your wallet. Food and dessert was delicious. Its BYOB. If you like strong coffee, i'd recommend their local coffee.

GIGI NEEDS TO BE FIRED! I called the restaurant back to get the owners number and the time that the owner will be in tomorrow because I wanted to talk to them personally after being treated poorly over the phone as well when I just wanted to talk to a higher up. She threatened me and called me names which was very much unappreciated and I did as well after the fact.

Really just ok. I've been twice and think the space is very charming. Tonight the food was just ok. The chicken tagine didn't have a great flavor and the baklava was really dry. Pretty bad actually. My sisters chicken in phyllo was also sort of dry. The hero dish was the beet appetizer with pita. Service was ok but not very friendly. Was also very hot inside but I'll give a pass on that since it is 95 degrees out.. Think this might be my last time.
I was honestly not that impressed with the food or ambiance. The lentil soup was not what I'm accustomed to and the baba ghanosh was also not prepared the way I've had it previously. The decor was ok but the leather seat was torn and I smelled a musty odor. I chose the restaurant because of all the good reviews. Perhaps I should have tried the chicken shawarma or the other popular dishes.
We had a great dinner! Food was delicious, atmosphere is cozy and fun, the owner couldn't be any nicer or more accommodating! Highly recommend!!
We loved everything about this spot! The food was super delicious - recommend the Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Kofta Kabab Plate and Chicken Tajine. The crème brûlée also. The ambience was inviting and beautiful like a Wes Anderson film. We will return to try more dishes. High recommend it!
