I was honestly not that impressed with the food or ambiance. The lentil soup was not what I'm accustomed to and the baba ghanosh was also not prepared the way I've had it previously. The decor was ok but the leather seat was torn and I smelled a musty odor. I chose the restaurant because of all the good reviews. Perhaps I should have tried the chicken shawarma or the other popular dishes.

We loved everything about this spot! The food was super delicious - recommend the Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Kofta Kabab Plate and Chicken Tajine. The crème brûlée also. The ambience was inviting and beautiful like a Wes Anderson film. We will return to try more dishes. High recommend it!

They were very gracious and quick. They seated us promptly and always kept our drinks refilled. I had the chicken tajine, a very popular dish, and it just was not for me. What I received was basically just boiled, unseasoned, chicken. After a few bites, I asked to send it back and get something else. The manager/owner came out and was very polite. I then had the chicken Pitza which I also did not enjoy. Sadly, I will not be returning.

Today I came here with my family for brunch. They made the best and most delicious French toast. Their burger and fries were delicious as well.
This place is phenomenal. I came here on Sunday morning with my family. The staff is great. The food is excellent. The place is really cozy and relaxing.

Despite the fact that the cafe is not large in area, it definitely has a big heart. Great food - very tasty! The products are super fresh. And warm pita is a special pleasure. I filmed how warmly the owner of the restaurant cares for his guests - this is very valuable. I recommend this place 100%. Author's delicious teas are such a rarity, but I really liked this one. Thank you and I will be back with friends!

Very disappointing... We had heard good things... Food was bland and unappealing. There are so many other options of chicken shawarma in Montclair - all are better. The one upside was the hummus, which was outstanding, and some of the best I've had in Montclair.
