The Uptown Bistro - Montclair, NJ

I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I have to say their service is always excellent and they keep the place well kept consistently. Rates are convenient and they serve big portions.

I was a little skeptical about this place because it was the weekend and the place was barely full. If you know anything about Montclair, you know people are fighting for seats on the weekend during brunch hours. I'm so thankful I gave this place a try. The wait staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Also, no complaints about the food. The portions were a great size. I could only eat half of my eggplant panini. Plus, it's BYOB and bonus, there are multiple liquor stores within a 5 minute walk.

This place is great!! Food is delish!!! Renee was amazing. Super accommodating and friendly. Could not have asked for a better waitress! Calamari was like butter and the lobster ravioli was delicious! It’s byob which is another positive! You will not be disappointed when dining here!

Went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day -

Had a Valentine Day Dinner last night. Booked from a Facebook marketing campaign as the price and the 4 course menu was just to my liking Enjoyed everything about the night. The food was excellent, and service was attentive. Is looks like hometown comfort restaurant. It is a BYOB and we did. As this was my first meal, I will return and try it again

Place is amazing, food is amazing, servers amazing, just love everything about it especially the chefs dinner specials is a most try and have.

Great food just missing lasagna and mashed potatos

I loved their breakfast menu with choices of fresh juiced fruits and veggies. Even my granddaughter loves it. The coffee is fresh. Decor is simple and modern. Restroom clean. Parking on the street if your lucky. But there is a town parking around the corner

Very nice place - I've had lunch and brunch here. Both lasted hours, and we were not hurried at any time. Good service, good food, pleasant ambience.

Delicious brunch. Warm atmosphere.

Stopped in in a Saturday evening around 830pm we were seated and served right away. Food was plentiful and everything was delicious. Salads were fresh served with just right amount if dressing, I ordered the chicken marsala and my daughter the ravioli, and my son enjoyed the gnocchi bolognese. All three plates were loaded with food, and each bite better than the last. The atmosphere was perfect with seatings all around to allow for small intimate tables as well as family tables for catching up. Definitely a repeat.
