Went here on 11/13 and was served a sandwich with the most rotten avocado I’ve ever seen. Completely brown and rotten, ended up having to throw the sandwich in the trash. Very disappointed.

The guy who served my food he never changed his gloves he was changed for the food than his go back to make may sandwich with the same gloves He touch the money never clean his hands!!!!!

This once well run establishment is now obviously run by high school or college age kids who have no idea how to take orders and delegate their time to different stations. They either need to train their employees or hire more competent workers. I’ve been going to this place for most of my life and have no desire to return based on the fact that I was ignored in the phone for almost five minutes, then attempted to call again and again only to be ignored. Seriously?

Ordered the famously classic "Angry Dwarf Sandwich". When we got home and started eating with a bag of Lays Potato chips like we used to do a few years ago, we were very disappointed, it didn't have the same kick. Basically it was made with plain Turkey, not the Sasallito turkey like we enjoyed years ago. Watchung Deli is no longer our go to place we can make a better Angry Dwarf at home, not worth the trip to "Warchung Deli"

I've been coming here for years and loving it. Went today at 3pm and left before ordering after a twenty minute wait. Two surly employees behind the counter were loudly complaining every time another customer entered. Clearly dragging their feet with zero regard for the line of ten potential customers waiting. Will be returning but NOT on a Sunday.

Everything is delicious, and high-quality, and the prices are pretty good. Sometimes they have really long waits and the staff doesn't seem to hustle with it. I guess it's to preserve quality though.
