Went here on 11/13 and was served a sandwich with the most rotten avocado I’ve ever seen. Completely brown and rotten, ended up having to throw the sandwich in the trash. Very disappointed.

Took way too long to prepare sandwiches. More staff than employees and it still took 50 minutes

I used to love this place. They still make great sandwiches, but the customer service has declined appreciably. That is pre-Covid. Don't try and call in your order. I was left on hold for over 10 min. I only stayed on because I was doing chores and wanted to see how long it would take. I hung up @ 12 minutes. I still like some of the staff and may go back, but the disappointment with the experience is real.

Used to LOVE this deli. Sandwiches, service, the whole experience was classic. Came back into town and was a disappointed. Sandwich was bland, had a little meat, I didn't enjoy it. Bread was blah. Can management improve the service and quality?

Gotta say this was pretty mediocre. Stale bread. Slow, indifferent service. And not good value for money. This place seems to be going through the motions.

Good memories of this place and the dwarf sandwiches. Sadly, the quality has gone down and the sandwiches no longer taste like they once did. Also, the place just looks bare now. It seems like they have less options behind the deli refrigerator and in the whole store in general. My guess is that the owners have changed since around 2015 because the angry dwarf sandwich still tasted amazing even at that time. The last time I ordered it, it just tasted amiss. It's still a decent deli; it just used to be better.

It is sad how this place has gone downhill under new management. The service is slow and often rude and the sandwiches while fine just aren't as good as they used to be.

I need to try the Ben Special!

This once well run establishment is now obviously run by high school or college age kids who have no idea how to take orders and delegate their time to different stations. They either need to train their employees or hire more competent workers. I’ve been going to this place for most of my life and have no desire to return based on the fact that I was ignored in the phone for almost five minutes, then attempted to call again and again only to be ignored. Seriously?

This place has steadily gone downhill and has been going downhill rapidly for at least the last two years. I don't know if this place is under new management but the store looks more bare than I used to remember. The cold salads are fewer, the chip selections are fewer, and I don't see the long lines anymore. So why am I saying this place is going downhill? I used to order the angry dwarf from here all the time and it was something else. It had hot and cold elements and the taste was certainly unique. I ordered an angry dwarf about a month back and it was nothing compared to the sandwich I used to get even two years back. The meats were cut thicker, the onions were cold, and the balance of flavors and consistencies were just all off. Last week I got a roast beef hero and it looked sloppy; like something the supermarket would offer you in their deli section. The one plus side is that they have amazing homemade rice pudding. I don't think you would come here just for rice pudding so that's why it's getting two stars because the sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. I've been going here since at least 2004 and trust me when I tell you that this place is not what it used to be. People notice these things.

Good sandwiches but management is brain dead. Multiple times they've been out of lettuce and/or tomato. Not sure how that's possible at a deli with many supermarkets around. Even if there was a problem with a delivery then send someone to go get supplies. Also if you order on the phone and pick up your sandwich in the store then you still have to queue up behind everyone who's ordering there. Saves you no time. 5 stars for product, zero for management, common sense, and customer experience. I'll generously round up from 2.5 stars to 3. Pretty sure a 4th grader could run this place better.
