It was very crowded when we arrived, we couldn't even get in the door. I know know why. The food is excellent, the menu very good and diversified. It's a nice space, but nothing special, the service was good but nothing special and the prices were reasonable. Your here for the food and the friends. Also, the bread is really good.
Took my mother in law for a mothers day lunch this past Saturday and was pleasantly surprised! We live in toms rivervans my mother in law just recently moved to montvale and doesn't know of many restaurants so we looked on Google and found delpinos and read the reviews and looked at the pictures of the delicious food and we made a reservation. So glad we did, the food was soooo goood! Both my.mirher in law and I had the chicken parm and my husband had the veal parm and omg it melted in your mouth! And the sauce was so good it was delicious! Best chicken and veal parm ever!
We had the special shrimp with avacado and onions for the appetizer and it was really good as well. For dessert my mother in law and I had the tiramasu and my husband had the chocolate chocolate chip cake and both were so good !
The food is amazing here as well as the service! Everyone was so very nice and did a great job. Will definitely be dining here again for sure!

First time they're under new ownership. I'm happy to say I was pleasantly pleased with everything. A minor blipped that coffee wasn't served at the same time as dessert. It came slightly later. But overall very good experience.

We ate dinner last night and celebrated a milestone birthday for our family member. The attention and thoughtfulness of the staff was beyond measure. The food was delicious and the cappuccinos at end of the night were the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. We loved the bolognese sauce, bruschetta toast and the calamari marinara just to name a few. Despite being something simple even the bread and side salads were also so tasty! Thank you to everyone at Delpino for your wonderful service. Can't wait to return!

Very disappointed on Saturday 9/27/2025 with the veal chop valdestano special. I usually get this dish and it has been good in the past however it was very tough and I honestly should’ve sent it back for the $52 price that was definitely not worth it.

Went for a large gathering, food and service were excellent. Were able to accommodate those with gluten allergies. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend.

We will never go back. The waiter last night was both rude and inept. He read us the specials and then seemed annoyed that we were not ready to order right away. We brought two bottles of wine( a red and a white) and he only opened one of them. He lit all the little candles on the tables around us, but we did not even get one. We had to flag the waiter down to get him to open the other one. He also seemed annoyed by that. We received four (4) avocado appetizers and not the one (1) zucchini appetizer we did order. After that was corrected we never saw the waiter again until the end of the meal, which took a very long time ( close to two hours). Our dinner orders had clearly been forgotten. All four entrees were lukewarm. We couldn’t tell the waiter that because he was nowhere to be seen. We did tell him when he came by to try to sell us some dessert, and his response was a rude “ you should have told me this before “. No apology. He seemed to think that since the restaurant was busy he was not required to be polite. The food was sort of okay, but ruined by the fact that it was not hot. There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in the area. We will never bother with this one again.

The food, service and atmosphere at Delpino is amazing.
They have the absolute best Capellini Primavera, pork chop, veal chop and just about anything on the menu.
Give this local place a try!

Great, great food. BYOB is a plus as well. Don't be deceived by the menu because there are plenty of additional specials to choose from

We had a nice time, until we thought about the bill. We had 2 entrees and a coffee for $84.00 plus a tip. We were surprised when we were told the veal special I ordered was $51.00.
The most expensive item in the restaurant.
The item i ordered was a thin veal cutlet stuffed with too much cheese and maybe some panchetta in a mushroom sauce.
Not great. The chicken parm my friend ordered was pounded really thin.
None of the veal dishes on the menu were over 35.00.
Nothing on the menu was over $45.00 and that was a black angus steak. Even the zuppa de pesce was less than $40.00.
Needless to say, I felt deceived and ripped off. We won't be going back. I do not recommend this restaurant.
