I think they have new owners. People who work there are different and the bagels do not have the quality they once had.

We have been going to this place for many years. Family own and operated bagels are delicious, and they're always been very, very friendly

Was super excited to come based off reviews as we just moved to the area. Arrived and it was busy which is a good sign on a weekend! Ordered two bagels. One egg and one plain. We were highly disappointed as we took our first bite into the bagel and it was tough and extremely chewy. I have TMJ and immediately my jaw subluxed and had to chew on one side. Both my husband and I jaws are hurting from how chewy it was. The muffins were also disappointing. The cranberry was average and he finished it. I did not like my red velvet. It was dry and also a bit chewy. Service was fast and great. But I probably would not go back.

Great breakfast bagels, flagels, bialys, and more! Every morning made fresh, savory, and delicious. Food is consistent. Customer service is on point. A family run shop. They treat you with love and respect. Like you’re walking into grandma’s kitchen. Great sense of humor. Best part (besides the great food) is that if you call like 10 min ahead, they’ll have it ready for you when you come in. No wait time! As a Montville resident, I will always be back!

Honeslty I stopped going here for awhile, I've worked in town for about 10 years and lived here for 1. Several years ago I had a hair on my cream cheese bagel and started going to the other place on changebridge. When the other place closed for awhile to remodel I tried this place again. It seemed to be going well, I do agree with others that they don't toast your bagel when asked which fine whatever, but yesterday I went there and got bagel sandwiches. I happily was eating my cream cheese and jelly on what should've been a toasted bagel, but was not, and on the last bite I saw mold in the middle of the dough. Now it's the following day and I spent half the night up sick. They can't be baking fresh bagels each day, and are clearly letting old bagels sit out until they go with zero concern for making people sick. I couldn't post a photo here but will try to under the photos section.

Walked in with my coworkers, the dude behind the counter took their order, and proceeded to ignore me, not even look in my eyes and take the orders of the person behind me, and then two more people who walked in. I decided at that point to just go to Tuscany villa. Easy decision don’t go here, pretty sure the dude behind the counter has problems.

The bagels themselves are good, but if you ask for a sandwich / bacon egg and cheese, you’re gonna be disappointed. My friend ordered a bacon egg and cheese, it came with no cheese and the bagel was barely toasted. She asked multiple times for ketchup and none was given. Sometimes ordering can we be stressful because you don’t pay until after you have the food in your hand so you’re waiting behind all these other people and are constantly being asked if you’ve ordered yet when you already have. There’s not a lot of space so it’s hard to stay out of the way of people ordering and make it clear that you’re ordered and are ready to pay. Sometimes the orders get really messed up but I think it’s because they get lost in the crossfire.

Friendly staff was welcomed and unexpected at a bagel/deli spot ?. Bagels looked fresh, got an egg and cheese on WW everything. DIY coffee was fine. Lots of variety to choose from and a full Mediterranean deli menu. Would come back.

Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of spaces.

We were greeted very nicley and was given multiple options from the breakfast menu. The food was very good and was ready very fast and did not dissipont us. Once me and my family sat down we noticed how neat the place was. They even gave us a discount because we paid in cash. I truly recommend coming to this place.

The only issue I see is if your order for pickup when you go in you have to wait in line but only one line. They a little organization for pickup versus in place order
