I love Italian food! And I love a great Italian restaurant! It took four years for me to even try out Locanda Vecchia. Formally known as the Montville Inn, Locanda Vecchia has both great Italian food and is a perfect restaurant! The service was outstanding! Terrific table radar. The food came out perfectly timed between courses. We didn't feel rushed. The renovations inside are awesome and impeccable! Beautiful arches, color scheme was perfect for romance or a lovely dinner gathering. I loved that they paid homage to the old Montville Inn by utilizing their etched wine glasses. ? From appetizers through dessert everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. The bartender was also creative. The drinks were really tasty.?? Thanks Locanda Vecchia for a great night out ❤️???? We'll be back more often!!
Had the pork chop was delicious highly recommend this restaurant

The ambience of the location was lovely. We sat outside on a beautiful porch however, the road could get noisy at times. The service was five star excellent service and very attentiveness. Some of the food tasted authentic and I appreciate it. Other things were very spicy and not very authentic, overall good experience though
The restaurant is beautiful. Menu is terrific, the server was very attentive and the food was sensational. The wine list was extensive and fairly priced. We loved it and can't wait to return.
This is a high end Restraunt and people should dress accordingly this place needs to have a dress code We were dining here, Saturday night, while some people walked in in shorts and a T-shirt while the wife was wearing denim, jacket, sweatpants, and sandals this would be fine for a diner but not a place like this restaurant needs to implement a dress code and tell people sorry you're not dressed appropriately. We can't see you.
First time at restaurant. Sat outside. Very heavy traffic on roads. A bit noisy. Staff excellent. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was incredible. Wife had Cod, I had the sole with mussels. We were both thrilled with our dishes. The appetizer and desert were delicious. We will be back.
Had been there before and had a great meal. This time very disappointing. We were never offered the specials. Ordered veal scalloping and, I believe, it was chicken . Got zucchini flowers for app, not impressed. Won't be going back.
Delectable food. Pretty ambiance. Young man who delivers n takes food very efficient. From the bread to desert this place is a winner..will return often.

The food was amazing. It's deceiving from the outside because it has a sprawling dining room and bar seating for at least 12 patrons. I highly recommend trying this place. The buratta salad, rock shrimp appetizer and bolognese pasta dishes were delicious and perfectly portioned.

Last night was our first visit since they took over the old Montville Inn. The four of us all thought it was great, and will return. Paola was our excellent server, the food was solid , the ambience nice, and the wine reasonable .

After a long time, I visited this place, i don't remember exactly what was the name of the old restaurant, but Locanda Vecchia is the successor and seems to be a perfect fit. At first look, it is like a seashore side beautiful house with a porch and all.
It was Friday evening but We had the reservation, The Place looks alive and cool... full bar is there with 6-8 high chairs. High tables are also there overlooking the road. The outside seating arrangement looked cool but it was 100F weekend so I did not take a chance and settled in the main dining area.
The menu had everything that you expect in any Italian restaurant...
We ordered:
Braised Duck legs: with port red wine reduction, truffle mashed potatoes, and sauteed vegetables... I. always wanted to try duck delicacy and was it good? Loved this dish—mashed Potatoes- so smooth, not dry, perfect mix of butter- too good.
Gamberi: Shrimp with spaghetti in spicy tomato sauce, it was good, not that spicy as mentioned in the menu, but good.
And some beers...
Prices are on the higher side but the food was worth it.
Ambiance: nice decor, keeping it classy...
Would recommend it for sure, and if you love Italian cuisine, you should not miss it.

We LOVED our evening and LV. The food was excellent and service was wonderful. Our group ordered the salmon, cod and ravioli and everything was delicious. We have told others and plan on returning soon.
