Experience was okay. Server was not quite as attentive as I would like from a quality restaurant. Ambience and decor was spectacular, gorgeous establishment. Food was good, unsure if the price is justifiable. I would come back again for special occasions.

Went for a wine tasting experience. ALL 5 courses were excellent (not mediocre cooked like at a wedding hall), fresh, and hot. None of the courses were rushed so you really got to savor and enjoy it. Service was great. Attentive but not part of your table. If you get a chance to visit the cave, I highly recommend it. Fun room and beautiful. Will definitely be back again.

I have been going to rail steakhouse over 10 years. It has been my go to restaurant always consistent. Great atmosphere excellent service. I've compared every steakhouse in New Jersey no one has to the excellence of rails. Which is why I had to write this review because last night I was actually shocked and disappointed at the food my absolute favorite is the ribeye steak infused with honey bourbon. As I was eating my steak, I noticed it was not as tasty as it was in the past, and I was actually pulling strings out of my mouth as I was chewing it. I have brought so many people to this restaurant boasting about the food. I just am in total shock about the quality of meat last night.

I'm a regular at Rails. Booked a table for 3 in the Speakeasy but they weren't able to accommodate me despite having a reservation. Had to sit upstairs at a high top near the entrance. Wasn't ideal. Food was still good but disappointed about the seating problem. Told me I'd have to wait until after 11pm to be seated in the Speakeasy despite having reservations for 9:30PM. Didn't even offer any polite gestures for the mixup. It was unfortunate but the food was still great.

Rails never disappoints me. When we talk about steaks, it remains one of my favorite steakhouses in the tri-state area. This time, I found the service a little be lazy and unprepared on the menu. Other than that, 4 stars all the way.

We went because they had a Special Promotion. The value was good, the proportions were NOT the same. We were 3 people and we all had the same dish. Two were the same and one was almost half of what the other two had. My experience was good. I wasn't overly impressed. The place itself is very nice. Great place for Couples or groups.
Absolutely loved this place! The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the ambience in the speakeasy was simply exceptional. From start to finish, everything was perfect. I'm already looking forward to planning my next night out here!

We love rails so much! We weren't new visitors but it was our first time eating in the speakeasy and it was such a delight! The vibes are amazing down there and if you're lucky enough to get Karolyn as your server, you're in for an absolute great night. She was amazing! Food was superb as always. Can't wait for our next visit!!

I never ever ever ever feel obliged to review restaurants. There are hundreds of reviews that speak and echo anything I would say about the delicious meal I enjoyed. But what is compelling me to post this was truly the regarding the service I received here. It brought me to tears!!! Patricio and Dylan were the most considerate, kind, attentive and understanding waiters I have ever met in my entire life. After dining in the tri-state area my whole life, exploring cities like Chicago and LA through food, I’ve been conditioned and numb to lackluster waitstaff and typically take the approach of trying just to avoid them spitting in my food, but Patricio and Dylan completely floored me in their attention to detail, knowledge, and service that showed me exactly what good waiters could be. Living with GI issues and intolerances, I consistently feel like an inconvenience at restaurants and that the entire responsibility of making sure I don’t fall ill after dining is based on how I modify the menu and pick around my plate. EXCEPT here at Rails with Patricio and Dylan, I had the first care-free dining experience in my life, their thoughtfulness allowed me to be truly present with my family, enjoy the wonderful food being served, and just live in the moment, which is so important to me. Dylan was explicit in the detail of every dish and always helped me navigate what was coming around and being served. Now, back to the tears, when I subtly mentioned in passing to Patricio that I couldn’t eat dairy and couldn’t partake in the birthday cake, he brought me a delicious sorbet flight, unprompted, just so that I could feel a part of the festivities.
