Went to Mizu on 10/2/24 for a late dinner. Got seated very quickly and while looking at menu to see what we were going to order there were small flies all over our drinks and table. After trying to deal with the flies for a while I asked the waitress for another table to run from the flies. Now sitting at another table we get our food and side of nasty flies again. The sushi that we ordered was fair definitely not great. And fair quality sushi and ridiculous amount flies does not make for a good night. Never again

Food quality is bad, I ordered total of $280 for 4 of us. One dish of Sashimi is already gone bad, i bitted into it tasted like gasoline, i spitted it out. We were told that credit card machine went down and we have to pay cash, somehow i noticed that two table away the customers had just finished and paid with credit card. I did not say anything, The Asian woman, could be the owner insisted we have to pay cash, luckily we came up all the cash, and I still left about 16% of tips. I think the owner thought we are Asian and we always carry cash, with customers are paying cashes, the owner could simply void the check and skip adding this into restaurant selling revenue.

Perhaps, it's because it was a late dinner on the Labor Day. 1. Uni was not fresh. 2. Credit card terminal machine was not working. The staff didn't wait and try again. We had to pay $300 in cash. Lucky that we had cash. 3. The portion of calamari, an appetizer, is much less than what we get there during lunch.

I have been eating sushi for over 40 years and it does not get “ Better” than Mizu. I have eaten there dozens of times and have “ Never Been Disappointed “..Emily the owner is always so Pleasant and ALWAYS attentive to her staff and the professionalism that makes Mizu a neighborhood restaurant a cut above “ All” the rest.. If you love your Japanese food and Sushi this is the spot unless you happen to be Flying to Japan to compare.. Thank You for so many “Great Meals” Jeff…

Must try sushi and lobster soup!! I started visiting the area a little over a month ago coming to see my amazing girlfriend. We wanted to find some great local sushi for takeout but we didn’t know what exactly to try. She said this place was great eating inside but never had takeout so we should give it a try. The entire process was quick and easy. I put it in the order online. I didn’t have to pay before hand so that made the process even quicker. They said the food would be ready within 35 minutes and they were right. It was available for pickup right at the 35 minute mark. It was a quick process of them printing out the ticket, while I signed the double checked my order then I left. The sushi was absolutely amazing! I had gotten some appetizers as well, the lobster soup and coconut shrimp. Both were great. Especially the lobster soup. I’ll probably start getting 2 servings from now on. If you’re looking for some great sushi, whether it’s to-go or eating inside, I can’t recommend this place enough!
