This was my second time at Eli’s Eatery, and once again, they did not disappoint! It’s tucked away in a quieter area of NJ with not much around, but that just adds to the charm. Plus there is always plenty of parking, which is a huge plus.
I ordered a little bit of everything:
• Fried Dumplings (Beef)
• Pork Buns
• Pork Belly
• String Beans
• Chicken Fried Rice (Spicy)
• Seafood Soft Tofu Soup (with rice, broccoli, and kimchi)
• Chicken Katsu
The portions were generous, and the flavors were there. I especially loved the spicy chicken fried rice, perfect amount of heat (but i tend to like things on the spicy side). The seafood soft tofu soup was rich and comforting, and I really appreciated the side of kimchi. The pork buns, katsu, and the string beans are my favorite.
The only item I didn’t love were the dumplings, but everything else more than made up for it.
If you're looking for authentic Korean food with great portions and quick service in a quiet spot, Eli’s Eatery is definitely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Exceptional food and service! Everything was fresh and delicious. Please support this restaurant. They know how to cook and provide quality food at a fair price. Wings, bulbogi, and Udon noodles were exceptional!
food was very salty. It was so bad that i told my elderly parents not to eat it. some food were so burnt (looks like from reheating too many times) we sent them back. very disappointing. I love korean food and i was so excited when one opened nearby but this is terrible.
I stopped by Elif’s Kitchen Eatery Café today, and wow—what a great experience! The wings were perfectly crispy and full of flavor, but the real standout was the fried ravioli. It was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, warm and cheesy inside, absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. If you haven’t tried this spot yet, you’re seriously missing out. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice place
Delicious food
The food tastes like a reheated frozen meal....that they have the audacity to charge $18 for.
It's been a long time since I've had restaurant food this bad and I'm sure if it didn't double as the kitchen for Huckleberry upstairs (indoor kid's play place) it would've shut down almost immediately.
I ordered Ramen and gumbab. Too much water in the noodles, taste more blended. Gimbab, the rice was not chewy and not enough seasoni

I don’t know how this place got good reviews and great rating!? My wife and I went on 10/23/24 after work. The menu doesn’t have many options and the prices are kinda high. We ordered the buns and sweet rice cake with mozzarella. As we continued to see the menu we observed the employee in the kitchen actually use the microwave more than 4 times. When I witnessed the cook use the microwave I got bothered. The server came and brought the buns and the meat looked suspect. I asked my wife to try it and she said it was ice cold and can tell it was microwaved!!! I then called the server over and actually told him why are we being served cold food that was put in the microwave? I also stated that the establishment is a restaurant and should have the food prepared and cooked. I asked for the manager and come to find out that the cook was the owner and she said all the food is prepared days before!!!! Why would I spend money in a restaurant to eat days old food being warmed up at in the microwave!? That’s a shame and a disgrace!

Got the wings and the soft tofu stew for take out. It was ready when I arrived, at the exact time they gave me for pick up. I only live 4 min away so this was perfect.
The wings were just as much breading as wing. Others liked this ratio, but it’s not my preference. The wings might have been crispy straight out of the fryer but were not by the time I got home and started eating them, about 5-10 min after my pick up time. The restaurant should rethink the packaging on this one for take out. The sauce was sticky sweet. The wings weren’t bad, but I wouldn’t order them for takeout out again.
The soft tofu stew soondubu was bland. It had no flavor, and no spice. It was that bright red like gochugaru so I thought my pallet was off because of the sweet wings, but when I tried to eat it the next day, it was still bland. I revamped it with bullion and some gochjang the next day so it didn’t go to waste but honestly it was a miss for me.

I’ve been looking for a Korean restaurant that makes dukbokki and they did not disappoint. We also tried the mozzarella and shrimp kimbap, Mandu, Bukkeumbap and Bibimbap. Everything was delicious. (Didn’t take pics of everything we ate )
