We ate at Tony’s for many years, back to when Tony owned it- even used them to cater for a party. Went back recently and saw the “new/original”owner. It was about 8:20 pm and he was seated at a table. We greeted him, welcomed him back, and he saw we had a bottle of wine, and said, ‘don’t get yourself comfortable, I close at 9 now’. We looked at each other and said, ‘no problem We’ll go someplace else’. 👋 Won’t be back.

Just had the grilled chicken sub at Tony's Pizzeria in Morris Plains and it was excellent. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the sub was fresh and delicious. It's a great choice if you're looking for a hearty and tasty sandwich. This place has a great, classic Italian pizzeria feel, and it's clear why it's been a local favorite for so long!

Good pizza, but we felt drinks were all loaded with sugar! Please add some diet drinks and Unsweetened Iced Tea. More veggie pizza please like white spinach with ricotta, or Sicilian or Grandma's. Very limited pizza options by the slice.

We haven't been to Tony's in quite awhile. Ordered a regular pie last night and immediately noticed a difference in the taste. What a big improvement. The dough had good taste, the right amount of smear with tomato sauce and good quality cheese. The dough is NOT paper thin like a cracker. Growing up in NY, the new pizza is what it should be. Perhaps there are new owners. Great job, will be back sooner rather than later. Don't change a thing except your YELP description, it reflects the old owners style.
Classic pizza restaurant. My wife ate here as a kid in the 1960s, and the food is still the best! Just shared 3 slices. Awesome! Friendly staff.

Called at 6PM for a Pizza Pie for pick-up, They just started making it when I arrive 40 minutes later after I waited in line for 20 minutes. Don’t waste your time. Not worth the horrible service.

I have tried a lot of pizza places in Morristown / Morris Plains area, and if I rank them, then this would come in the last place. My only complaint is the pizza itself. It was lacking the texture and felt too salty. The flavor was also inconsistent. So overall, it was a disappointing experience.
